2020 Presidential Race

Republicans will hate her economic stuff, and many wouldn't like the non-interventionist stuff just like Dems don't like it. Both parties are interventionist.

I don't disagree with her regime change foreign policy plugs we need to get away from. But, WW2 was the last conflict we fought that wasn't based on that IMO. So it has been pretty ingrained in how we do war since Korea, well pretty much forever.. We do need to tidy that up a bit. All the way back to 1675, if you include Colonial battles and wars before being the USA, the longest America has gone without fighting something somewhere militarily, as an opponent or a member of a coalition, is the 33 years between the Civil War and the Spanish American War. On two other occasions we exceeded 20 years. this includes all battles, Indian Wars, etc.

She is literally the only one who has attempted to address foreign policy at all. Yet alone actually take it in a positive direction.

Pete was the biggest phony candidate out there. The guy couldn't even run his own city well.

You know, you're right. The only one that didn't fluff the pillow from the back and lay it back down. She actually tried to throw a real platform out.

Untrustworthy. One minute bashes christians. Oops, that wasn't good. OK, now I'm not so evil in my thoughts about christians. Didn't really matter the subject. His whole "platform" if he or the others really had one, changed by the week. He was a good orator like Obama, but his substance was mobile and shallow.

Like Obama.

Nah. I just like to use that gif whenever I can. No need to argue about it, we aren't going to change each other's opinion about Pete.

Not that Pete couldn't have pulled it off, but by the time it comes around again, he needs to know who he is going to be, and not be like "oh yeah, me too" on every leaf in the wind. He had a chance to be different but threw it away and in the end he rode the talking point carousel.

That was the problem with their entire ticket. Nobody dared to step out. There was an entire coloring book, and only one green crayon to share. There was an entire voting base that would have crossed over, and they never grasped that in their brains.

Joe Biden Claims Trump Supporters Believe ‘Mexicans Are Rapists,’ ‘All Muslims Are Bad’

Former Vice President Joe Biden is claiming that some supporters of President Donald Trump back the notion that “all Mexicans are rapists” and that “all Muslims are bad.”

Biden, the presumptive Democrat nominee, made the comment while addressing donors at a virtual fundraiser on Wednesday. In particular, the former vice president was asked if he was planning to reach out to Trump’s “base” during the general election campaign.

Biden, who has claimed to be the only Democrat capable of winning back white working-class voters, purportedly laughed at the idea of conducting such outreach.

“There are people who support the president because they like the fact that he is engaged in political division,” Biden told the donors. “They really support the notion that, you know, all Mexicans are rapists and all Muslims are bad and … dividing this nation based on ethnicity, race.”

When Biden’s remarks were first reported on social media, they drew immediate comparison to the infamous “basket of deplorables” comment former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made during the 2016 campaign.

Watch: Pro-Trump Super PAC Launches $10M Ad Buy Highlighting Biden’s Ties to China

HARIS ALIC16 Apr 2020206

One of the biggest super PACs backing President Donald Trump’s reelection is launching a $10 million ad buy highlighting Joe Biden’s ties to China amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

America First Action, which has already raised more than $19 million to boost Trump, is focusing its ads on Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin—three pivotal swing states likely to decided the outcome of 2020 race.

The biggest ad buy, constituting $5.5. million, will be in Pennsylvania, specifically the state’s western and north-east regions where Trump flipped long Democratic strongholds in 2016.

Each ad is targeted specifically to the state in which it will air, with many of themes already having been poll tested to ensure they appeal to the highest number of voters possible.

Some of the ads include clips from Biden’s discussion of China on the campaign, most notably the former vice president’s assertion that the communist power was not a threat to U.S. economic interests. Others accuse Biden of politicizing Trump’s decision to institute a ban on U.S. travel between China during the early stages of the Coronavirus outbreak.

The ads will be launched simultaneously with a new website, “BeijingBiden.com,” created by America First to detail the former vice president’s extensive ties to Beijing.

The theme of the America First ads is one that seems likely to dominate the upcoming general election between Trump and Biden. The former vice president finds himself not only under attack for having supported liberalized trade relations with China for decades, but also for his youngest son, Hunter’s business dealings with the communist regime.

As Peter Schweizer, senior contributor at Breitbart News, revealed in Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends, Hunter Biden inked the multibillion dollar deal that created Bohai Harvest RST (BHR) with a subsidiary of the state-owned Bank of China in 2013.

The deal, which was the first of its kind, created BHR as a private equity fund to invest Chinese money overseas.

The timing of the lucrative deal has been brought into question as it came only 12 days after Hunter visited China with his father aboard Air Force Two. Officially, the then-vice president was visiting the country amid escalating tensions over islands in the South China Sea and decided to bring his granddaughter and son along.

Since its creation, BHR has invested heavily in energy and defense projects across the globe. The younger Biden, who has claimed not to have received any compensation from BHR, has promised to sell his ten percent stake in the firm.

That decision, however, is unlikely to end the controversy over the Biden family’s ties to China.

Yep, I see Democrats haven't learned a damn thing in 4 years. Keep digging your grave Joe. We believe in legal aliens coming to America.......LEGAL --------> LEGAL ---------->LEGAL .......... Not ILLEGAL. NO racism in that.

I don't really agree with your assessment about Pete's policies, but he's got until 2024 to further hone his message. If Biden wins I don't think he will run more than one term. Sets up Pete nicely for 2024 and a job for me hopefully the day he announces.

Make sur you clarify that more specifically in the future.

But in all seriousness, I have been told of some opportunities in different campaigns I might be able to be hired for this cycle. All of them involve leaving Tennessee, and I'm not sure I want to do that. Been thinking about it for a few weeks now, still torn on it.

Good luck if that's what you enjoy doing. But remember, VN will always remember your man crush on Pete wherever you go...Mayor Pete, is that a pistol in your pocket or are you just happy to see us? "No, it's just Zep."

That's the last thing we need an anti-christian homo.
