I have been pretty much staying home the last 3 or 4 weeks. I respect the d*mn virus and will not put my family, friends, neighbors or those working at risk needlessly but I Am Not Afraid of Facing The World and I have not Quit Living. You chose to view it one way, I see it another.

The entire world is on pause right now; maybe we’ve all been sent to our rooms to think about life, to sift through what has value and what doesn’t, to really help where we can because we can, to see beauty that’s always been there but we forget to look, to find joy in those we love, to appreciate the helpers.

Respect is not the same as fear. I respect a busy road and I respect this virus. Not putting myself in a position to harm or be harmed isn’t fear, it’s maybe, wisdom?
All I am trying to get over is this can't go on much longer..

There is no vaccine coming, and the world can not stay shut down forever...period.

AND...it certainly is wisdom to respect a busy road...but you still have to pull out and drive it if you wanna get somewhere, and you put yourself, loved ones, and others in position to be harmed everytime you pull out of your driveway.

Imagine getting swept twice in the first round and then when you retire your team only wins one less game, goes 55-27 and wins a playoffs series without you.

Imagine thinking MJ is better than Jordan and Brady is better than Manning. Virtually the same careers.
Wow...you don't know much about those teams or who they played that got swept in the first round...this is a stupid take even for you.

Imagine thinking a guy who has lost more finals than he has won, was embarrassed in multiple finals games, got swept in his latest trip, and didn’t even show up for game 4 is better than Jordan. Hilarious
Lmao when did losing in the FINALS become such a bad thing? So is it safe to say it’s 10x worse to lose in the first round of the playoffs?

Lebron cannot sniff Jordan’s greatness. After Lebron’s latest finals when he didn’t even show up game 4, he laid down and quit, the debate was officially over. So no need to engage it anymore.

According to some the mythical creature jordan never lost a game, made all his shots, advanced past the first round, and won titles way before pippen came along. Some of the people who grew up with jordan will never admit someone else is better than him. Lebron has better stats than him, they point to rings. Russell has more rings, they say it doesn’t count (for some odd reason). It’s a cant win. 🐐 James

Arguing about GOAT status usually falls into a subjective argument. The age you are no doubt plays into it. So, here's my 2 cents on the NBA argument.

Greatest winner- Bill Russell
Greatest freak athlete - Wilt Chamberlain, maybe Giannis Antentukumpo gets here one day...
Greatest all-around - Magic Johnson, although I wouldn't argue anyone saying LeBron
Greatest killer instinct/will to win - Bill Russell or Jordan
Greatest offensive and defensive combination - Bill Russell or Michael Jordan

LeBron is a wonder, a once-in-a-lifetime talent. He doesn't touch Jordan or Russell when it comes to an on the court demonstration of determination and will-to-win. I'm not saying he doesn't have it, I'm saying that in some of the biggest moments, he's not showed it. And he has in other ones.

That's why, I'm going to argue Bill Russell or MJ as the greatest. And, no doubt, because of my age, I'm going to push MJ to the top because I saw him play and he made more highlight plays. The limited TV exposure of Russell limits how much I saw of him and I'm only limited to very few highlights and what I've read.

Bill Simmons wrote the 'Book of Basketball' about a decade ago and has done a 'Book of Basketball 2.0 podcast' recently that would be worth reading and listening to if you can get by Simmons' crude humor and vulgarities.

We can do this argument with any athlete or team, with any position and that is part of what makes following sports so much fun. I appreciate the back and forth that most of Volnation offers. (Especially the David Ubben ribbing)

😂😂😂😂😂 this is a hilarious attempt at argumentation. Jordan didn’t have Pippen his first three seasons of his career. So? Lebron didn’t go to the playoffs his first two seasons as a pro and then when he did go to the playoffs he was embarrassed in his first run, got swept in 2007, and didn’t actually win anything until he went to Miami and created a super team down there. And he played in a pathetic conference as well with no competition. The East was pathetic during lebron’s tome and everyone knows this. Who cares that the first 3 years of his career Jordan didn’t win 3 finals? This is a ridiculous argument.

I want engage this non debate anymore, just had to point out how foolish this meme is

I wasn't nearly the fan then I am now, but people were pretty pissed about 2002. That team started top 5 and went 8-5 and got absolutely clowned by Maryland in the Peach Bowl.
I work with a Maryland alum who was in school during that time and attended the game. Get to hear about it all the time.
