2 words...background check. Requires an ID to exercise my right and there's fees for registrant. I'm just asking for an ID at the voting booth.

If I had to choose, I'd rather it be harder to vote than it is to buy a gun. BUT since you put it so eloquently, how about no restrictions on either?

Voting has been responsible for more deaths than private gun ownership will ever be. Not to mention the word "infringed" which is plain as day in the 2A, the 3 constitutional amendments that address voting ALL have a 2nd clause allowing congress or state legislatures to regulate who votes. But since you're an attorney you knew that, right?

The right does everyday when it tries to suppress or restrict an individual's constitutional right to vote while saying at the exact same time that their 2A "rights" should not be restricted at all.

You have to have an ID to legally purchase a gun, why should legally voting be any different?
