Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

So, that is the standard?

It's not concerning in the least that the president doesn't understand the 10th amendment? I mean, seriously, how much lower can that bar go?

Again, what action does it cause?

Trump says stupid ish all the time. Even his supporters know that.

Part of my enjoyment of this presidency has been the hope that people realize this position is not nearly as important as we've made it out to be. This isnt a kingdom.

Keep lowering that bar. Smh.

This is understanding the constitution stuff, seems to me that should be pretty important and very troubling that the lead executive doesn’t understand it. But to each their own I guess.

I will say again, it causes nothing to happen. We have layers and layers of people around the POTUS, he can misunderstand it all he wants, it generates no action.

Combing through the various news outlets on all sides...turns out it is pretty unanimous that Trump was wrong to say he has total authority.

So....why would he say that?
I think he views leverage as control. He can pull federal funding for State of Emergency declarations but that's it. I believe States give up some rights when declaring but I cant recall what is involved in that.

He either:
- believes he does (scary)
- doesn't understand his limits (stupid)
- misspoke (common)
- is trolling (juvenile)

My mom and stepdad were in your camp, but it took years, and I mean just until last year, for my father to come to terms with my blowing off law school. He views work as work. He loathes his role (even when he was a criminal defense attorney; he's a prosecutor now), but looks at it at a paycheck at day's end.

He's a bit of a miserable dude, but he had been taking weekend trips to come to my venues the past year or so, and seeing my imprint on everything has helped him come around. He really loves my bourbon and rye program so I think that's what sweetened the deal.
Why do so many liberals have mommy/daddy issues? I don't blame you though, i wouldn't want to work getting rapists, drug dealers and thieves out of jail either, what a miserable, disgusting life

We are talking about the executive branch, which should be able to handle more two things at once. Trump ignored COVID because, as I stated before, he did not want the economy to tank. Plus, he didn't trust our intelligence because of his deep state conspiracy theory,
You just ignored my question. How many virus bills, to get ready for this pandemic, could President Trump pass without Congress??

Trumps tweet was around 9am yesterday, the governors announced a press conference that afternoon.
They had already been working together. Are you claiming Trump was pretending to be completely ignorant in order to get cooperation done?
