Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

And what contextual evidence do you have to suggest that Biden, when given a golden opportunity to directly accuse Trump of a specific act of racism/xenophobia, is going to be ambiguous or mealy-mouthed about it?

the ban just occurred - he was responding about Trump policy reactions to the Corona virus. His comment directly referred to taking actions that were driven by hysteria and xenophobia. Hard to imagine which policy reactions he was referring to if not the travel ban.

the larger point is making that leap is minuscule compared to the leaps you are willing to make but on this one you simply cannot see the link. It's a double standard which has been the point many of us have been making.

It’s called context, EL. How do you not understand this?

Is that how it went? As I recall I was musing on how one might spin the "back in chains remark", which I didn't even attempt until I heard the full context which was refering to economic chains. I did make a comparison to Trump's suggesting that blacks had nothing to lose.

Pretty much the same tone with the "talented white kids", which I think everyone would agree, if they were being honest, was a gaffe.

If you took any of that as a serious defense, that's one thing, but I think you are misrepresenting the exchanges.
Haha...poor old uncle joe... he's not racist...he's simply a gaffe machine...let's all just laugh it off. He said what about Obama??? Lol, that's just another lovable gaffe.

Proves my earlier point. If Trump were to say it, racism. Biden says it, gaffe. Only Republicans can be racist.

Playing a campaign ad during a press conference like this is ****ing stupid. Hopefully Trump and Fauci kiss and make up and we move on.

Tiresome the media is instigating a fight between possibly the two most important people in this effort to get things back to normal, but not exactly surprising.

The thread speaks for itself you double down on "you has the dumb" if you like.

The MSM should have to run a disclaimer revealing their slant, whether it be FOX, CNN, MSNBC, or whoever. Maybe that would be the start to returning truth to journalism.

Sorry, random thought.
