You’re on a board...not Facetime. He clearly stated the PEOPLE of the respective countries had different attitudes towards our involvement. You either intentionally overlooked that point or disregarded it because you had no response. Betting a pack of rolling papers it’s the second. 😏
There is a reason it's called The Forgotten War. Since you have picked up McGills baton, our reason for getting in the conflicts were identical, that was MY point. Fighting communism on the other side of the planet. His was the people felt different, I get that but my dad fought in both, on the ground, not flying over like Ted Williams. He enlightened me quite a bit about what the "locals" thought in both and in both civilians were killed in the hundreds of thousands so I doubt they thought US soldiers were their saviors in Korea, rather they wanted to get back to peaceful village life and not die in the crossfire. My sole point is that it was not worth 33k American lives, you guys think hey sure it was, South Korea is worth it. I'm more of an isolationist and see the true cost of sons and daughters not coming home from the other side of the world for...well not good enough reasons. Happy Easter, let's pick this up tomorrow with one of your trademark obtuse fly by remarks.

Matt at VR2 thinks Tee’s tweet has to do with the dance competition and not a commitment 🤦‍♂️

I wasted a lot of excitement on Tee's tweet.

Also I wanted to be sure to share this with you all. I got my wife a gift for her 30th birthday and her soon to be completed educational doctorate! She more than deserves it. View attachment 271233
Like that ride. How much are they going for currently and did you do a lot of comparisons? My wife is getting interested in a new ride and that is on her list as well.

So Ted Williams is a coward for intentionally abandoning some of his prime years of his HOF career to fly into combat? You could make the point that WWII “wasn’t worth” the mass loss of life on our side. We did the isolationist thing...it failed. At some point, the powers that be made the call that waiting for the rest of the world to burn to the ground before getting involved is a bad investment. Gives you the freedom to meh the sacrifices of others and belittle others in your inimitable so non-obtuse practically subterranean style. Skip the appointment tomorrow...assume you’ll still be high.

We were really fortunate to find this one. Only 23k miles, 1 owner, clean inside and out with no accidents and it still has a year of warranty left. They had it listed for 35k (original book price at 42k), but we got in it for 30k with her trading in her 2012 Jeep Liberty. Btw the Liberty had 140k miles on it! I was shocked they gave us that much on the trade in but we took good care of it. Toyota’s hold their value so much more and so much longer than almost any vehicle. I’ve owned a few of them and I own a Tacoma as well right now.

We have needed rain here in North Florida but today... seriously?

I just got the double slipnslide laid out for the kids. Put up a volleyball/badminton net, horseshoe area, disc golf and a few other activities.

Oh well, it shouldn't last all day.

Lebron had 35 lbs and 2 inches on MJ. Would love to see a 1v1 in their primes. Too close to call decisively, but would have to give Lebron the slight edge due to size and strength.

I'm taking LeBron in a 1v1. That pick is predicated on him using his size to drive and post up at will. I also think he would give Jordan fits on defense.

Jordan is the best player of all time but he never went up against anyone like LBJ. Not sure he would have been able to rely on the turnaround jumper.

That said, if LBJ decided to dribble around and Jack up 3's then he gets beat.

This was a good post and probably should’ve been your first response.

Love the 4 Runner! I have/had one... gave to my son. It was a 2006 SR5. He is a Marine and recently was assigned his duty station at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, CA. I drove it out to him about 3 weeks ago from Lebanon, TN. After the drive it now has 221,000 miles on it. No issues on the 3 day drive out there. Have done regular oil changes and some minor maintenance on it since we bought new. You can’t beat a 4 Runner! Great dependable SUV.
