I used to think I was one of the older dudes around here. I can’t believe how many grandpas are on this site. Man. We all need to be more respectful to our elders like @butchna
Honestly thought you were 50 or more. Maybe it was just that podcast. 😏

I don't think very many of the Vietnamese people wanted us there, and I think the majority of Koreans did...it is that simple.
Did you take a poll? C'mon man, the reasons for our meddling were identical. you actually think we cared about the Korean people? No one is that naive.

That wasn’t his point.
I give up...My grandaddy didn't bitch about fighting in WW2, and he told me that he wanted to go back and help in Korea, but because of his job, they wouldn't let him reenlist.

I guess he was stupid and nieve 🤷‍♂️ I hate it anytime an American soldier dies, but they actually helped those people. The plight of the North Korean people sickens me, and I am glad we helped.

Ok we good. I think we have reached an impasse. Happy Easter.

Shelby County now has 1150 cases, and it appears one of the suburbs has had an uptick recently. The county is adding roughly 50-75 cases per day. They are predicting the peak in late May even though the health department says it will be manageable.

Again, I want this to change just as much as you, but it’s not all about your county. I assume the TSSAA will make a statewide decision.

They are considering canceling all the way thru 2021 school year.

Something changed after Korea...more to your point. Ted Williams flew in both WWII and Korea.

According to ancient historical records, written on parchment, sometime on this date 64 years ago, my mother gave birth to a bouncing baby boy. That was me. I apparently inherited a lot of my genes from my father. He was a very bright guy, almost always ahead of the pack. Anyway, this business of life was all new to me but as I listened to the doctor rattle off a bunch of data, Caucasian, male, 21.4 inches, 9 pounds, 2 ounces, blood type orange, somehow I knew I needed to get up to speed fast. As the doctor turned back to the nurse that was holding me I notice he had on an orange tie so in my new baby voice I shouted as best I could, “GO VOLS.” He smiled. We high-fived and I had escaped the customary spank on my bottom. The rest, as they say, is history.
Happy Birthday!

I believe it was and will be interested to see what he says but thanks for butting in.
You’re on a board...not Facetime. He clearly stated the PEOPLE of the respective countries had different attitudes towards our involvement. You either intentionally overlooked that point or disregarded it because you had no response. Betting a pack of rolling papers it’s the second. 😏

The tomb is empty!!!!!!...because he lives in me.. Happy Easter to all of you here in VolNation. I know that it’s not quite the same with all this craziness going on and we can’t be with our churches & families, but if He lives in your heart that’s what truly matters. His love endures! So thankful for everything that I have and everything He’s given me. He’s truly worthy not just because He died for me on the cross. ✝️
