Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

You all despise the constitution so you should probably sit this one out. Every governor pulling crap like this should be removed from office at the least

Scalia. Says. You're. Wrong.

I'm no Scalia fan. But if he's saying your view on religious freedom is going too far for even him ... you're probably in the wrong.

If a R governor was stopping Muslims from celebrating you all would have a different opinion, it’s Christians and they are all evil so they deserve to be treated like this.

Pray tell, where are Muslims being allowed to attend mosques but Christians are being barred from attending Church?

You don't seem to be grasping these are executive orders of general application that apply across the board.

Reminds me that the most popular food in England is ... Indian food.

That's the correct argument. Read the Smith case I linked above (authored by that bleeding heart libtard Scalia). This is a general exercise of the state's police powers. It's is not directed at or targeting any religious practices. It is targeting large gatherings across the board.

These Churches Refuse To Close Over COVID-19. Does the Constitution Protect Their Right To Remain Open?
I'm no scholar, but I am pretty sure the 1st Amendment does.

A better example was that stupid article she posted a while back about Trump supposedly being told about the virus back in November. It didn’t take long for that lie to be proven false.

From the articles I read, they said (based on US military source, whatever that means) that the intelligence community had been tracking the virus since November, multiple government agencies were briefed in Nov and Dec, and that it made it into the PDP in January - so I took from those statements that the president wasn’t officially briefed until January.

Regardless, has it been proven what wasn’t correct about those? I just saw a statement from DNI or DIA, can’t recall, that there were inaccuracies in he reports.

I agree. The 1st amendment argument with respect to religion is pretty weak here. I’d also add that, for me anyway, the church is not a building, it’s the people and until they are singled out and restricted from actually practicing their religion or have one imposed on them, the government is likely in the clear.

All I know is I need to make a trip to Lowe’s or Home Depot and they’ll be a million people there.
I drove by the Lowe’s in Hendersonville yesterday and the parking lot was totally full. I guess I’ll find me an Ace Hardware
Ace and True Value is where I go for any basic hardware. It's the only place I go for proper instruction. If the choice is between some pimply faced doofus and and old fella clad in overalls, is there really even a choice?

What you consider to be church and what others do could be different. Plus even by your standard of church is also prohibited because these orders also don’t let groups of more than 10 gather. I never expected you to be good with government stopping people from going to church.
