Back after '08, I needed a carpenter. I placed an add figuring I would get a lot of responses given the amount of people out of work, especially with the collapse of the housing market. I did get a lot of responses. Average wage for a carpenter at the time was about $15/hr. I had more than one tell me they would sit at home before they would work for $15/hr. And that was at a much lower unemployment check.
In my case many of those carpenters would work on the side for cash while still drawing unemployment.
I have read on here a lot of posters criticizing Trump for not shutting things down himself but instead allowing the governors to do so. Now let’s flip it. Do you want Trump to determine when to open the country up or state Governors to open their states up as they see fit?
She is cheering it, libs and most of the media are all inHe's not doing it tomorrow or any time soon, eventually school will have to resume and people will have to go back to work.
From the article
“We’re going to look at the evidence and make a decision," DeSantis said of the possibility of children returning to schools in the state, the Tampa Bay Times reported.
"If it’s safe, we want kids to be in school. ... Even if it’s for a couple of weeks, we think there would be value in that," he continued.
Makes sense to me, this cheering on the virus stuff is getting old ( not speaking about you EL ) but it's like the people who write this crap are stoking fear and cheering on more death just so they can say they were right.
