Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

I'm gonna have to call you on that. I know for a fact that 1. There's not enough room for two people to make out in a Chevette. It's more of a solo type car 2. No woman gets in a car with a guy who drives a Chevette.

Ok, first of all, it's possible. Not talking about horizontal or anything but you can cover the bases... Secondly, back then, it was all about the stereo and 32 oz White Mountain wine coolers. Lesser men may not have been able to pull it off, I'll acknowledge this.

I’m not the family member in charge of that part, my area is more security, weapons and supplies, but in conversations so far it appears they now have smallish versions that a running creek can generate power from. No idea the output amounts as that’s all on our family energy guy. We’ll make the decisions on that later this year along with the additional energy redundancy items.
There was a guy who lived on the river, back up in the woods, where I'm from. He made his own power, it was a neat setup. I don't know much about how he did it, but it was cool to see as a kid when we'd be up there fishing.

So, what volume of water flow is suitable for running a turbine etc...? I've heard of this being done in locations where the water can be temporarily redirected, using gravity where elevation differences allow for efficient electricity production from relatively small turbines.

Do environmental regulations make this too restrictive to do practically?
See #34,973. I have been looking into it for our creek.

This creek is on our property , just behind the house, and we are looking into power generation from it. I have talked to a person in the business on the phone, but he is in N.C. and hasn't been able to see anything other than pictures so far, to let us know the possibilities or cost.

When I was young I was at a party and drinking Boones Farm. I was out and went to a friend and grabbed his bootle out of his hand. Unfortunately I did not know he was a backer chewer and spitting in his bottle. Next morning I woke up and my car door was still open with purple puke on the pavement by my car door. Never had it again but may give it a try at McDad's next party.

Ok, as long as you don’t bring @Orangeburst. He’s hell on wheels on a forklift.

That’s going from the frying pan into the fire.

And just when I was thinking about asking @McDad if he thought you might work out as our bacon fryer as long as you stayed the hell away from the forklifts and pepper plants.

Smh
