Also consider that we had, from afar, been watching European nations fight with each other essentially non-stop since before the founding. It probably took a while for the US to be convinced (at least politically) that this particular conflict was any different than all the others.

We didn't want to be involved in European affairs and we didn't want Europe involved in the Americas.

Been doing it that way for a couple years. It’s great.

We have an Aldi fairly close and have been doing delivery since we've been under the stay-at-home order. They mark up each item between 5-10% and you pay the 'tip' for the deliverer, but I respect them for continuing to work and the Aldi has been in stock with just about everything we need to feed a family of 7.

We've used the Walmart too, but our local ones have run out of times for pickup many days in advance.

They are not on lock down. Stores and restaurants are open, yet the virus is spreading very slowly. That suggests very strongly that they are doing a good job of tracing and identifying carriers. It doesn't matter how many you test if you test the right people. When they weren't ahead of it, it was spreading very rapidly. Even the dudes that said that only 6% of cases had been confirmed worldwide, said that SK was probably closer to 50%. Their current mortality is 1.93% and has been slowly creeping up for weeks. I stand by my estimate.

estimates are factual

Been doing this for a year or so. It sucks right now because the servers at most grocery stores are not able to handle the volume of folks trying to do it.
Yeah, between that, the sheer volume some stores are experiencing causing long backups, and, in some cases, not enough store personnel to handle it efficiently.

That collaboration on the song "It is well with my soul" that was done recently by 31 backup singers from the Nashville area has already been viewed well over 5,000,000 times and many hospital staffs etc play it daily at their shift startups. If you guys haven't yet heard it, I highly recommend it.

Interesting thought. How would the world be without Samsung, LG, Hyundai/Genesis, Kia, etc? Pretty major tech comes out of South Korea that almost certainly would not have happened if we had stayed out.

Highly debatable.
