Also consider that we had, from afar, been watching European nations fight with each other essentially non-stop since before the founding. It probably took a while for the US to be convinced (at least politically) that this particular conflict was any different than all the others.
Been doing it that way for a couple years. It’s great.
They are not on lock down. Stores and restaurants are open, yet the virus is spreading very slowly. That suggests very strongly that they are doing a good job of tracing and identifying carriers. It doesn't matter how many you test if you test the right people. When they weren't ahead of it, it was spreading very rapidly. Even the dudes that said that only 6% of cases had been confirmed worldwide, said that SK was probably closer to 50%. Their current mortality is 1.93% and has been slowly creeping up for weeks. I stand by my estimate.
Yeah, between that, the sheer volume some stores are experiencing causing long backups, and, in some cases, not enough store personnel to handle it efficiently.Been doing this for a year or so. It sucks right now because the servers at most grocery stores are not able to handle the volume of folks trying to do it.
