No, he was the right hand man of a felon who testified against him and conspired to entrap Joe Exotic so he wouldnt be charged with anything. Said felon had a financial benefit of joe exotic going to jail

The hitman he allegedly tried to hire was a friend and employee of Jeff Lowe for years. My opinion based on the doc is they fabricated it to get themselves out of trouble with the feds. Lowe admits to encouraging it because it takes pressure off him. The "hitman" conflicts himself. On one hand he says he would never kill her. Later he says he chickened out and went to South Carolina. Joe says he never paid anyone to kill her. He said Lowe told him to give the guy 3k for going out of town.

But it's a doc that takes place over 5 years and there may be things we don't see.

And the thing is Lowe admits to setting him up in the final minutes of the doc for those very reasons. The doc played some clips of him and the "hitman" making conflicting statements twice in that episode I think. Once in the normal flow of the show, then at the very end again. Almost like telling the audience "we're not telling you what we think, but really watch these parts again now that you've seen the outcome."

He is the lead disease control adviser to the POTUS. This POTUS is not a science guy, probably most arent, so as POTUS you have to heavily consider what this guy states. I assume F proposed several scenarios....if we do X, then Y happens. If we do A, then B happens. My points are - to say F has most certainly played a major role in what route we took and part of the reason we took the route we did is because I believe he relayed his belief in these doomsday scenarios to POTUS if we did not go scorched Earth.

I dont think Joe ever abused them any worse than Carole Baskin. The tigers he "killed" he claims needed to be euthanized, which Carole had significantly more dead cats on her property per the long memorial. He bred and sold Cubs. that's all hes truly guilty of.

We are only in a light lockdown. This is not scorched earth. But a light lockdown is still aggressive. I’m not trying to diminish it or the impacts it is having, real-time. On our economy. It’s just nowhere as clear to me as it apparently is to you that this isn’t what we needed.

I dont know what it assumes. My impression of models at this point is that it probably assumed alot of incorrect shtt. This one suggests we didnt do so great, yet we still smashed those IHME models. Guess those were just that bad.

And that is your opinion. I dont consider unemployment skyrocketing to unheard of levels, "light". I dont consider a 2 trillion dollar spending bill, "light". I dont consider people's movement restrictions being mandated as "light".

We literally did not consider the advantages of allowing immunities to be built up among certain populations.

It doesn’t suggest much, honestly. Getting in your car driving to pickup a Kroger clicklist adds mileage to that study, but you’ve got one interaction. One chance for transmission. Two months ago for that same mileage you maybe go in the store and have what, 30 interactions?

I think we considered it, weighed it against what we saw happen to the death rate once hospital saturation occurred, and decided the risks to human life did not outweigh the benefits to the economy.
