How the hell would I know where he is?? I’ve got one man to keep track of, and that’s plenty!

Maybe he’s working OT to keep the cinnamon rolls coming? Or Twinkies or whatever it is.
All I care about is yur zone men and I am fine.

I remember when I was a kid thinking the world would have all kinds of wonderful things by the year 2000 sorta like the Jetsons and I would never live long enough to see that. Lulz!

@vollygirl and other Instant Pot users:

Are you able to preserve food in your model, and if so, which one do you have? Dr. Google tells me that you can steam preserve, but not pressure preserve, or something something. I've never preserved food other than in the freezer, so I'm completely ignorant. Apparently there was a model called the Max that let you preserve, but I have the Duo (combo pressure cooker and air fryer.)

We have decided to go nuts with the vegetable garden, but that's like having multiple pregnant cats that all give birth in a two week time, and there you are, trying to figure out what to do with 3 dozen kittens. So it's time to learn how to can!

(Note to the country folks: yes, there are those of us who grew up in the burbs and have no idea how this works, recipes, etc. Even my grandmother, born and raised somewhere around Saltillo, Mississippi, never put food up. So be kind.

There are SEVERAL books on canning. Ball actually makes a good one. It seems that what they all have in common is a requirement to hold X press for a given amount of time. Bottom line, the higher pressure => higher temperature than boiling => quicker sterilization without over cooking.

My mom canned in the oven by the way. Check that method out.
