Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

It can be whatever you say it is. I don’t care. Not interested in this red herring.

Beth Cameron, who wrote the oped that preceded Morrison’s, saying that the WH pandemic office had been dissolved when/after she left NSC... she isn’t a medical doctor. She’s an analyst who likely wouldn’t have been in consideration for a position on the task force for the same reason nobody from the remaining NSC’s biodefense cadre was placed there.

I was making fun of you for slurping Cheeto Mussolini’s choice to appoint actual medical experts to a pandemic task force. Cameron is not a medical expert and likely not someone who would have been placed on the task force because it wouldn’t have required reassignment from her present duty station.

So what relevance is the dissolution of her bureau/position supposed to have to what I was saying? None. The correct answer is none.

You felt that the president of the United States appointing government medical experts to a task force to deal with a pandemic was worthy of praise. This proves that your expectation was that he would botch the task force assignments, too. He’s the metaphorical blind squirrel and you were impressed that he found a nut.

Even if we assume everything in Morrison’s oped to be true and impartial, it’s doesn’t disprove or change that. So... be my guest.

Beth Cameron headlined, "I ran the White House pandemic office. Trump closed it."
That is patently not true; Cameron is either misinformed or a liar.

Bolton fired Tom Bossert, the homeland security adviser, realigning the post to report directly to him. He eliminated a number of deputy national security advisers so there was just one. And he folded the global health directorate into a new one that focused on counterproliferation and biodefense. Ziemer departed for a high-level post in the U.S. Agency for International Development, though a former administration official said he was due to leave the NSC anyway. His staff, whom Ziemer had called “the dream team,” remained in place. https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...ite-house-office-global-pandemics-eliminated/

I can see why you're not interested in "red herrings".

No; actually you assumed I thought Trump brought Fauci and Birx in off the street, or something:
"This was me me being a smart ass. Birx was hired by Obama. Fauci has been working for the government since ‘84.
C’mon man..."
which was your error.

No, I give him credit for putting the right people into place, and places of prominence, as stated prior. Azar and Redfield are holding clipboards, superceded by Fauci, and the appointment of Birx Feb 27. The left howled about the exclusion of CDC at the podium, but we objectively understand why they aren't and that Birx and Fauci are solid replacements.

And "slurping" - really? Are you that eager to join LG and other mental giants using terms like "Demonrats" and "Republicons"?

That's me making fun of your idiotic obsession with an indiscernible point existing solely in your head.

A friend of mine that's in great shape got this stuff. Lives in Indiana. His wife was texting terrible news Thursday. He was admitted to ICU and was struggling to breath. Started the hydroxychloroquine and zpak Friday morning. His fever went away Sunday morning and has been normal since and he's been moved in to a normal room.

I think you mean, How would they know he tested positive. If infected, he would show signs and symptoms???
I thought the only way to test positive was to be infected. Terminology doesn't really matter though - .
So he is "infected", but his only signs are a slight headache and sore throat (which he doesn't disclose) and a slight cough (no fever).

My experience is that the one year I got the flu shot is the only time I've ever gotten the flu.
No shot = no flu ..... 100% of the time
Flu shot = flu ....... 100% of the time
The one year my wife did not take it she got the flu. I've taken it every year since it's been available and have not had the flu .

From listening to Cuomo it sounds like NY is one step away from arresting anyone that doesn’t follow social distancing rules and stay at home order. They’re doubling the fine and he is pushing local government to crack down. These are crazy times though. He’s telling everyone what their rights are and aren’t. This is scary stuff for our future and I’m not talking about the virus.

He’s probably pissed the all knowing model says they only need 5600 ventilators in NY now. Sad!
