Coronavirus (No politics)

A woman in the county beside us who tested positive apparently came to our county shopping yesterday. She's known by some, because she works for the sheriffs department in that county. So instead of getting out in her town, she came to ours. Our sheriff put out a video saying she had been talked to, but the damage is already done if she spread it touching anything. Someone took her picture in Lowe's, wasn't even wearing gloves.

Now that is uncaring and selfish. She should be fired for such bad judgement.

Where did you see updated? Website says April 1 was last update.

Yeah, not sure why they haven’t changed that 4/1 date. I have been checking Tennessee projections regularly. Tonight was when I noticed a significant drop in projected deaths and cases.

@VolnJC says they hadn't updated since 04/01 and had stopped answering questions on their Twitter. I dont mean to speak for him, but he seemed to be insinuating they blew this.

I don’t know that they blew it. Too early for me to say that. They are putting new data in every 4 to 5 days. A lot can happen in that much time.
I like to look at trends when looking at this data and right now (4/4 model) we seem to be trending down.

My bad they updated tonight Alabama dropped from needing 27k beds on peak to needing 2k....instead of 5k deaths here it's under 1k ...it's still off terribly says we will have 988 in the hospital tomorrow today we had 231 with a total of 1.7k cases

Strangely the website still says last updated 4/01 as far as I can tell.

Has a flattened curve better in most every state. Even New York is better. Georgia and Florida will still have a way to go but looks like almost no deaths by June 1 anywhere. But need to keep doing what we have been and get to back end of curve end of April for most and early may for others. NOW PUT ON MORE STEAM AND BEAT THE HECK OUT OF THIS CRAPPY VIRUS. GO BIG FREAKING ORANGE.

Alabama looks much better but it's still too high...why couldn't they reset data based on actual admissions today?
We have 231 in the hospital now but projecting a mean of 988 tomorrow and 2052 admissions on peak day in 13 days which would mean
231/1841=2052/X =16,352 cases by 4/18 or 1,150 new cases a day We have been nowhere near that many new cases...we only have 1.8k total positives

It has been updated and Tennessee numbers are down considerably from original projections. we have dropped from 3300 deaths to 587 with no bed shortages peak date moved from 19 Apr 20 to 15 April 20.

They had about 5000 dead projected at one point. Someone on here referenced that and I found a local news channel that referenced that amount less than 7 days ago.
