According to that Alabama is going to get absolutely hammered by the virus. I don't know what's happened there that makes their situation so different from surrounding states but they are expecting a ton of cases there. Far more than surrounding states. The projection isn't good for TN at all but AL is downright scary.

Possible. Politicians are politicians even Trump.

I always try to find the positive and it's definitely been seeing the reaction to the suspension of rights etc..

When push came to shove, so many showed a complete and total distrust of all government, it was a thing of beauty.
Folks will probably go back to defending one side or the other, but this brief glimpse of lack of real faith in any of them, warms my heart😄

Finally got the groundhog that's been terrorizing me for who knows how long. It's been a good day.

Watched "Greater". Good movie, especially with the 98 game against Arkansas as one of the major moments of the film. Good movie.
Watched it a couple of days ago. Hard to find that type of faith and work ethic these days. Great to see when those two things come together. Would have been nice to see him finish his dream by playing in the NFL.

I thought this was sort of interesting. On Saturday we had a spike in the number of tests performed here in America and the percentage of positive results fell from being in the 25% zone for much of the week down to around 15% on Saturday. I guess a lot of folks decided to go get tested on Saturday just in case. I hope they weren't too disappointed when the test came back negative. Anyway, today it appears we dropped back to the sort of testing numbers we've had in most recent days.

These projections are predictions and are severely overstated

I think California finally processed their backlog of tests and reported them all on Saturday. That created the spike.

Yea, that Alabama stuff is weird. Not sure what the algorithm is picking up on there.

Schaefer was also born in Austin and went to A&M. It was always speculation that he would replace Gary Blair but Texas is next best for him. I have a friend who is a Mississippi State alum and has connections. He said they matched the Texas offer.
Maybe so but we were never paying for a top flight, established coach.
