Random, Thoughts, X,XXIV

My yearly checkup with the VA, took all of 5 minutes over the phone last week. Best dr visit I ever had.
I hate going to the doctor anymore. Every time I go, it seems like they discover a new health issue. Last week, my local doc did blood work and said I show signs of hypothyroidism. He wants to retest in a few weeks. I'm just like, "that's great, something new".

I have never witnessed a scene like this. And I grew up by the Memphis airport, lived in the DC area when it was the murder capital of the world and lived in Oakland and Richmond California.

I have hypothyroidism. Since taking medicine, I feel better.

You lived in Richmond? Was that while Chris Magnus was chief of police? He was pretty amazing.

How many meds are you on now?
I'd have to count. I take a big handful in the morning and a smaller handful at night. Plus 3 types of insulin I have to inject, though one is only weekly. I haven't counted in awhile.
