Been doing this for a while.

We use a projector, Wifi extender, extension cord, bose wireless speaker, power strip, and several hdmi cables. Still requires a male to male 3.5 mm cable.

Painters cloth strung with Strings and bungy cords.

It's the middle class neighborhood version of a home theater.

Be interested to hear youre setup? Help us to make this better.

I've got a cheap projector for Amazon and instead of the painters cloth I picked up a screen from Amazon too. It's a stretchy fabric with grommets all around. Our house is cedar so I just screwed in some small hooks in the said of the house and the fabric just hooks on those hooks. It's waterproof fabric so I leave it up most of the time. To get rid of the cables we use a Bluetooth transmitter and a Bluetooth speaker. Pop a firestick into the hdmi port and youve got a movie. We don't need a Wi-Fi extender because we're so close to the router.

Also a testament that we have about 1/4 of the world’s confirmed cases, but only about 1/8 of the deaths.

It would also be interesting to know how many we’ve tested, diagnosed, and treated vs the rest of the world.
This 1st link below is updated very often with COVID-19 numbers. There is a table under the "Countries" tab with number of tests given. Table also has #positive and #deaths per 1M people

The most glaring difference in this table of actual numbers is the difference in "serious/critical" condition vs the projected need of ICU beds in the IHME model that is being used by the "experts" to predict our ventilator/ICU bed needs.

April 5 actual USA serious/critical = 8200
IHME April 5 projected USA ICU beds needed =33000+

Coronavirus Update (Live): 1,218,991 Cases and 65,878 Deaths from COVID-19 Virus Outbreak - Worldometer

You would think the few drive-ins left would be doing a booming business right now. And maybe a huge opportunity going forward to revive the business.
Cruze Farm In Knoxville set up a screen to show movies. They will bring ice cream or pizza to your car. Not sure if still open.

My grocery department manager has bought our entire department some masks handmade by someone he found in town. He's a good man.

I believe essential businesses such as grocery stores who are making record profit should be providing all their employees with masks. Instead they've been hiring dozens of new people here at Publix to replace us because they are expecting a bunch of us to start dropping like flies.

I figured most others, including yourself would have more sophisticated setup. Sounds awesome.

To clarify, you have a laptop with HDMI output and bluetooth capability? I wasnt aware projectors had capabilities? Inasmuch ive looked 0%.

My projector has an audio out Jack. You can purchase a cheap Bluetooth transmitter that plugs into the audio out and sync it to your Bluetooth speaker. The screens are inexpensive too, I think around $20 On Amazon.

My projector has a hdmi for the firestick which is what we use. My laptop also has a hdmi if we wanted to go that route too.

I was looking at the projection/resources site I posted earlier. I found it interesting that just a week ago they had the peak for Tennessee as April 26, they've moved that projection up to the 19th.
I can only see that as potentially being a good sign. I’m hopeful.
