Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I don’t trust Fauci, I put up a video from him yesterday saying in January this is no big deal to Americans don’t worry about it, now he saying 240,000 of us will die. Which time was he telling the truth?

I didn't see the video, but I suppose as circumstances and information change, so does did his assessment. So, if he went from "not a threat" to the current 200k, I'd be more concerned that he might still be low-balling.

HA! Our leaders don't receive punishment for fleecing America. It's become a sport amongst them. They give each other awards behind closed doors.

I agree. What is difficult for me to understand is why someone such as yourself who has such a belief would support providing more power and control to these incompetent thieves.

It's the same logic, regardless (which I suppose would be more transparent in Excel). I guess if someone wanted to pretty it up they could use Access.
Excel has nowhere near the horsepower SAS or other modeling software has. We should not be dictating policy and global predictions from an excel model.

Well my neighbor (a nurse) has been furloughed. Lack of work.

Where is this at ? NGV has places begging her to come to help them . Experienced ICU nurses right now can just about name their price . It would be more dangerous but travel nurses are doing “extremely “ well right now .

Sure, I guess we should be using quantum computers for that matter. Software doesn't have horsepower, but if you are saying it lacks functionality, you might be right, although I'm not sure what the specific shortcomings would be.

Knoxville. I wouldnt take her as the type to jump on the opportunity.

Not going to tell her. I prefer she is available for the Knoxville surge.

I guess it depends on what his/her specialty is, or if an RN etc... but the word I've been getting is that Knoxville nurses have been calling in sick, creating scheduling issues.

Your assumptions are somewhat askew. I don't support providing more power and control. I support more honesty and efficiency. I don't believe we have either now. Our side attempted to hold a President accountable for his blatant misdeeds and the other sider balked.

I don't disagree, but my thought, with all that's currently going on, if she falls on her sword she could potentially get off easier than if she drags it out. Not saying she deserves it, but there are more pressing matters to attend to. The longer she drags it out, the more time outrage has to build. And this goes for any member of Congress that took advantage of insider info, be they Republican or Democrat.
It’s a weird situation. Her husband is the Chairman of NYSE, so no way they’re making their own trades, but the optics are terrible.

She’ll be up for special election in November and I’m sure there will be immense pressure inside the party for her to step aside and let Doug Collins have the seat. None of the insiders wanted her in the first place.
