Wtf stew , you went all in on that one didn’t cha ? First as crazy as it may seem , he wouldn’t make it as a tug captain . They are completely different people with different skill sets . I know it seems odd bu
t it’s true . Secondly .. really ? Trump is losing the military so he’s going to just stop them from voting ? What movie did you watch last night and did it involve a lot of drinking on your part ?

Trump said yesterday that mail-in voting can't be trusted... Seems logical that he'd not want people mailing in their votes. I don't know, maybe he was just talking about Democrat votes, so maybe he wouldn't mind 20% of the military votes being mailed.

You will defend donald no matter what. The truth is, donald's inaction was on full display for everyone to see. Leadership flows from.the top down. He is the commander in chief, so everything stops at him. Although his supporters cast blame at everyone or anything, which is crazy, because conservatives say they are the party of personal responsibility. I guess that is "me not thee".

Almost as bad as having an embassy attacked with multiple deaths and blaming it in a YouTube video. The buck stopped with Obama and liberals were outraged.

We all know why he said and what he was talking about . We’ve all seen Biden’s and Pelosi’s statement about the upcoming election .

Here's more.

To follow up on your logic behind your quote: "Leadership flows from.the top down. He is the commander in chief, so everything stops at him."

Bradley/Chelsea Manning must be Obama's fault. Including the commutation of sentence.

Bowe Bergdahl's going AWOL, the search that resulted in dead and wounded and the trade of 5 high asset Taliban leaders for his release, the Rose Garden announcement clown show, must be Obama's fault.

Didn't hear a peep out of you regarding leadership and where things stop then. Why? It's a mystery, I tell you, a mystery.

I will say this, if Trump had no qualms about interfering with military justice in the case of that Seal, he could easily do the same here. I thought he was wrong in that instance, and still do, but if that was worthy of his attention, I could look past him doing it here. Though I do fully believe President's need to stay out of military justice. This Captain is far more worthy than that Seal was. But what he did was still wrong as defined by protocol. There's a reason the rules and regs exist and are expected to be followed, and it's never a good look when someone in the command structure sets such an example of blatantly disregarding them, even if it was for the welfare of those under his command.

Yeah, the SEAL thing was far more polarizing given the severity of the deed, I don't agree with that one at all. It'll be interesting to see if he weighs in again, I'd imagine far more people would support a well meaning Captain versus a murderous SEAL.

I think there’s this thing called COBRA that allows employees that are laid off to pay for and keep their health insurance. I’m sure if an employee loses their job they may qualify for Medicaid.

Why would Obamacare enrollment be reopened?

COBRA is far too expensive for most unemployed people. The average family policy in 2018 cost over $28,000 a year. Not many working families can afford that.

You are really disengenious. He wasn't referring to those procedures already in place but to doing it for every single vote.

You are living McDad's avatar's quote today aren't you?

You aren't stupid, so don't be.

Post up anything that backs your fantasy.

Other than Trump's comments on mail-in votes, yesterday.. The situation on the ship has been very high profile. If Trump didn't want the officer removed, he quite simply wouldn't be. I think everyone knows this, the sailors absolutely know this.

You think the president was involved in what a carrier captain was doing? How did the military function before Trump’s presidency?

First you don't want him involved in the military justice system, now you do.

Interesting.

I don't disagree, but he'll still have a mark on his record just for being relieved of command. He did the wrong thing for the right reasons, which makes this a bitter pill to swallow IMO.

And so... depending on where he was on the promotion list he “may” get bumped down and have to wait on the next round or two.

I’ve seen a Full Bird get retired out over words, harmless words jokingly spoken at a booze flowing conference party, where a newly minted Lt got her knickers wadded, got offended and raised the roof. The Colonel got booted right into a cushy civilian job that’s still associated with the military. Ultimately they will always take care of their own if that opportunity arises.

The MSM is doing that Cpt no great favors by continuing to incessantly bleat over this. They’re actually causing him more career harm that what the jacket flag would do.

I agree , the best thing for his career is for the media to let it die down . It is what it is , he knew what what happen when he done it , he made the decision, now people need to let it play out .

That takes care of today's problem. A lot of people will not go back to work right away. What happens going forward when families cannot afford COBRA premiums?
There’s already a provision to open enrollment to the ACA for 60 days if you lose employer coverage. Unwad panties please.
