Preventative measure in case you are sick or other people around you are sick. If an infected person coughs or sneezes, the mask will hold back the cough or sneeze from being released in the air.

You asked for a comment from Cuomo? The point is the people are likely considered "essential" and this is how New York is getting around, as far as I know.

If your point is, should there be more masks and protective gear for those essential people? I'd say you have a good point. If your point is that they should be taking advantage of the streets being clear to have cabs or buses running, I'd say you might have a good point. If your point is that you don't believe these people are essential workers, I couldn't tell you for sure.

I asked what you would like to hear from Cuomo.

Well cutting trains was obviously a bad move as they are now packing "essential" employees into trains and platforms. He should change the policy as it is not working.

You probably have better insight than I do. But as newyorkvol seemed to allude to, It's probably de Blasio's job. But maybe Cuomo should handle it.

A couple of pages back someone was talking about truckers that are driving across this nation in making deliveries. I heard on talk radio this morning that a lot of places on the interstates where they have places to stop & use the restrooms are closed down. I really haven't thought about that problem. So I guess for some they go in a cup or an empty coffee can.

I have never concerned myself with whichever individual held whichever office in whichever government, and I don't intend to start.

Jared's take is that if your local hospital needs gear from the Fed stockpile, it isn't meant for you. But if you know the president, we'll take care of you.

I hope the good hospital admins in Greenville know Donnie.
