Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I call things as I see them, sorry if it chafes your more sensitive parts.
Mar a lago is like trumps second home not unlike other presidents with Camp David, Kennebunkport, or the Bush’s Ranch. Get over the fact that it cost money to move and protect the President. The thought that he is taking time off to make a profit is ridiculous. He’s already got all the money he or his family would ever need. Good grief

Sure why would he want to stay in the White House, when he can't make money from the Secret Service, WH staff, other government officials, foreign governments all booking rooms and spending money.

But it's his second home.... please!!

"Someone working on her behalf" like any competent investment manager? Buy Dupont because they manufacture protective gear that "is in high demand"? Who could POSSIBLY foresee that might be a good investment?

Uh, ANYONE that can do 1 + 1 arithmetic, which includes every damned person associated with stock trading. LMAO!

DuPont de Nemours Inc.

When analysts are overwhelming saying buy and no one is saying sell or underweighting it - three months ago and today - who would ever think to actually buy a large, stable corporation in time of economic crisis? SMDH

But far be it from me to dissuade yet another excellent conspiracy meme; proceed!
You are wrong. DuPont was not in high demand at the time of her major purchase. Their stock had been performing poorly. You have to keep in mind that at the time of her purchase, most Republicans were downplaying the threat of the virus... Trump and Fox News definitely were.

He didn't know asymptomatic people were infected, and could infect others.....science denier.
That comment was strange, but I think it was more the undeniable numbers that show that we're looking at a crisis with our hospital capacity by mid-late April.

You have the narrow focus, because you only see me as singularly focused. I am not, but keep on worrying about how I don't see things your way.
Your posts speak for themselves. All I did was state the obvious.

Sorry if that chafes your more sensitive parts.

Your lack of posts speak for themselves... I'll give ya a minute to go back a few pages to redeem yourself, if you are all that concerned. If not, whatever.

It's not logical or reasonable that the reason we are woefully unprepared for this pandemic is the person in charge of the country?
It's mostly a convenient political argument. This will get second guessed to death and rightly so, but I have a hard time seeing how it matters who was calling the shots on this one. China, Italy, Spain, France, the UK, etc have a wide spectrum of political beliefs that have all struggled to stay ahead of this.

That post makes no sense. First, you don't define what "poorly performing" means because it's some crap you read, somewhere. But most importantly, you don't explain or understand that even if it were "poorly" performing over some period, it doesn't change the strong buy recommendations of analysts BEFORE her account managers did so.

You act as though this was some insider, secret trade when in fact the industry at large was saying BUY. FFS...
You don't seem to understand not buying a stock when it's hot, but buying at a lower price.

Don't be going all logical on people, they're under enough stress as it is.

That is not true!!!! And it is too much of a coincidence that she jumped on this particular stock following her Senate briefing.

This is BS. Pelosi was passing out $5200 pens while the President aligned a coronavirus task force.

You Dems support this????

I believe that the actions of the President and the Administration regarding this pandemic will be more scrutinized by the world over the next few decades than anything that has happened since the Vietnam war. The world will know exactly how this played out.

No it won’t. It will be hidden and covered up.

And this is a MAGA hero!

Wow. Rush wasn't even comparing to the seasonal flu... Hell, he literally said that it was the common cold. Yeah, this makes Limbaugh look really bad, but since he has Stage IV lung cancer... I don't expect many people to take him to task on it. He will get a sympathy pass.
