I forgot about him suspending his campaign for a time. It was brutal but this will end up being worse on the economyThe bottom fell out during the campaign in '07. Remember McCaine cancelling campaign stops to rush back to Washington and save the day? Factories were shutting down and laying off workers like crazy in '07 before the election.
The policies the left pushes are not business friendly and will hinder any recovery. They'll push all the "green" stuff, which will cost businesses even more, probably result in fewer jobs, and probably put some people completely out of business. Of course, that will lead them to increase entitlement programs, which they'll love, resulting in more people reliant upon the government for their livelihood. But that's all JMO.
it was the beginning of February.
I'm afraid this thing is going to make 2007 look like a picnic
Ever looked at what goes in to producing those batteries and electric cars?1) Biden does not strike me as one to "push" policies which are so difficult that they really have much effect.
2) Don't be so short sighted. A more eco-friendly economy now might have a small effect on economic growth for the moment but pay off huge dividends longer term.
3) There are plenty of opportunities to make money promoting more eco-friendly approaches to business. Just because a car manufacturer who is slow to retrofit to accommodate battery technology suffers in the short term is no reason not to allow a Tesla to prosper.

Electric cars 'pose green threat'
Not exactly as eco friendly as you think.
Biden has been pushed left by the Sandersdistas/Warrenistas. Some of his "political promises" in his campaign speeches would not be friendly to an economic recovery.
No, I'm not going to list them. You are capable of doing so yourself, not that it would make any difference in your thinking if you were to do so.
Try not to waste energy wondering and worrying. It rarely helps anything. In times like these, we need to focus on being thankful that we have today. What's a little surreal for me is that we have taken a pay cut but I am just as busy as before.
It just has me wondering what happens when things actually get slow for my office.
I get you.Just an example.
Pretty sure Telsa is doing fine. Green tech has been making money under Trump, just like everyone else.1) Biden does not strike me as one to "push" policies which are so difficult that they really have much effect.

An analysis by The New York Times found over 70 accounts on Twitter that have promoted the hashtag #FauciFraud, with some tweeting as frequently as 795 times a day. The anti-Fauci sentiment is being reinforced by posts from Tom Fitton, the president of Judicial Watch, a conservative group; Bill Mitchell, host of the far-right online talk show “YourVoice America”; and other outspoken Trump supporters such as Shiva Ayyadurai, who has falsely claimed to be the inventor of email.
On YouTube, conspiracy-theory videos about Dr. Fauci have racked up hundreds of thousands of views in the past week. In private Facebook groups, posts disparaging him have also been shared hundreds of times and liked by thousands of people, according to the Times analysis. One anti-Fauci tweet on Tuesday said, “Sorry liberals but we don’t trust Dr. Anthony Fauci.”
Adding that Dr. Fauci is bearing the brunt of the attacks, Mr. Bergstrom said: “There is this sense that experts are untrustworthy, and have agendas that aren’t aligned with the people. It’s very concerning because the experts in this are being discounted out of hand.”
Thank you, yes they will qualify so that is some good newsWent back and read the situation. That sucks, man. Will they at least get some relief from the $1200, i.e. will they qualify?
We are all going to feel the effects over time. The UE numbers are going to be staggering. Like I said the other day, $2 trillion is not nearly enough. Its going to have to be $10 trillion. And the housing market? We were primed for a cyclical downturn anyway ...
70 twitter accounts. OMG. Get an effing life, you have attacked him too.Fauci under attack from the right.
This is disturbing, to say the least.
Medical Expert Who Corrects Trump Is Now a Target of the Far Right
This is what worries me the most and is exactly why I have been so critical of Trump. His dismissiveness, his calling the State Department the "Deep State," and crap like that just feeds this narrative that the virus isn't that big a threat.
That is not the bill you were referring to earlier but on this particular bill..... Rand tried pushing through an amendment that he knew had no chance of passing and voted no on the bill that didn’t include his amendment knowing that it would pass with ease.... he might be different but I have my doubts.... I don’t stick with any kind of party line.... I vote who I think is the best candidate period.
This post contains so much BS.Fauci under attack from the right.

He probably shouldn't be political in his line of work. If nobody knows that, they have no basis for their stance.Fauci under attack from the right.
