You can pass out and die if you do. A guy who looked at ours in the house we rented, pumped it dry, got in by ladder, held his breath, and climbed out after about 10-15 seconds after finding out the pipe coming out of the house no longer lined up to flow in the tank.

This happened to me once. When the tank was installed the pipe coming in wasn’t cut off as short as it should have been. This created a clog where the pipe entered the tank. My lot slopes down to the front yard and the tank. I took the top off and saw the problem. I figured the clog was just what little I could see so I used the shovel to knock it off..... well.... I was wrong.... and thankfully standing on the uphill side of the tank because after I hit the clog with the shovel..... it broke loose and there was some serious pressure behind it...it looked like a freaking fire hose and was spewing off of the tank. Had I been facing uphill I’d have been car washed

I took clean out lids off and worked my way down till I got to the problem using a siphon hose as I went to get rid of all that water.

I never mentioned it but I finally got to experience the joys of semiautomatic weapons, old appliances, and tannerite a few days ago.

It made me forget about everything bugging me for one, sweet, cathartic hour of wanton destruction.

We have done some crazy things over the years with tannerite , it’s probably the one thing I wouldn’t argue over the government restricting the amount sold to rednecks .
I’m glad you were able to get out and have some fun with it . Hot brass and big explosions is always therapeutic. Lol

No doubt..... there was a kid that lived in my neighborhood growing up that would get in the nasty cow ponds on the farms nearby. We all thought he was insane

He said "I'm not supposed to do this" as he climbed down the ladder. It was a realty deep tank, over the top of his head. I told him that it wasn't a good idea before he did it.
