Did he go blind? Are you surprised? He's a tool for sure, just not the sharpest one.
Trump just stared into the solar eclipse without safety glasses

Holy crap! You knew about Corona back in 2016?? Because you've been loathing him for at least that long, this just happens to be the newest thing you can blame on him.Everyone wants the numbers to go down, for this to be over, and for the country and the world to get back to a state of normalcy.
One can still really want that, as I do, but loathe Trump even more for his role in poorly handling it.
You are correct. But it was probably better left unsaid. Just provides unnecessary ammo to his critics... but then again, his critics could make him singing "Happy Birthday" an impeachable offense.
Basically blames Trump and Congress for not taking measure. No recommendations.
"U.S. intelligence agencies were issuing ominous, classified warnings in January and February about the global danger posed by the coronavirus while President Trump and lawmakers played down the threat and failed to take action that might have slowed the spread of the pathogen, according to U.S. officials familiar with spy agency reporting.
The intelligence reports didn’t predict when the virus might land on U.S. shores or recommend particular steps that public health officials should take, issues outside the purview of the intelligence agencies."
Do you think they agreed with Trump's Easter timeline? Maybe they even advised him of the magnitude of the situation and he took it on himself to blurt out Easter? Either he didn't understand or he didn't listen. You can see them every day in the press conference. Today was a great example of Fauci and Birx explaining why they advise the additional 30 plan that was implemented.
Both.. I was just reading the followups to Murphy's tweet back in early Feb. Links to some articles of cuts in funding and doing away with the WH Pandemic Office and Health Security Head and NSC which did happen. But the CDC cuts ain't happening now. My original point of posting the tweet from Murphy was his account of the Feb 5 meeting. So it had no impact on the response.I'm also guessing strongly that it was a cut in future increases rather than a true cut to that area of 80% of current budget.

Just left the Administration briefing on Coronavirus. Bottom line: they aren't taking this seriously enough. Notably, no request for ANY emergency funding, which is a big mistake. Local health systems need supplies, training, screening staff etc. And they need it now.
No I don't think they agreed with this Easter hoped for timeline.
However, he didn't take any action on that. He hoped it would be possible but since it is not he continued to follow their recommendations.
Not sure why it's so hard to distinguish between making some comments and actually implementing plans.
I have told them and told them. Only pay attention to what people actually do, not what they say. Words are cheap. No I don't think they agreed with this Easter hoped for timeline.

But as was pointed out in the correction in the WaPo it wasn't really doing away with that office.

That is not the bill you were referring to earlier but on this particular bill..... Rand tried pushing through an amendment that he knew had no chance of passing and voted no on the bill that didn’t include his amendment knowing that it would pass with ease.... he might be different but I have my doubts.... I don’t stick with any kind of party line.... I vote who I think is the best candidate period. If pretending the one guy who is acting differently from everybody else is the same as everybody else helps you sleep at night...
Sen. Rand Paul votes against $8 billion coronavirus emergency package
He was the only one ^
It was a person involved in the change - but former administration unamed sources are better truth tellers I guess
Probably shouldn’t have been running around doing a stupid impeachment procedureBasically blames Trump and Congress for not taking measure. No recommendations.
