The President didn't say to drink fish tank cleaner. Radiation can be effective in treating cancer, and stating such is absolutely not providing tacit approval of eating plutonium as treatment.

And the media plays right along and makes up stories; uses partial quotes and generally gets exposed for being exactly what he claims.

Why can't they play it straight?

Also let's not forget that the previous administration handled the media by spying on them and unprecedented prosecution of leakers. Is that the better approach to dealing with the media?

I'd like to see sources that anti-malarial drugs are being used worldwide for covid-19. Most sources I've read are governments warning against their use until further trials are conducted. The initial claim Trump made was based off of two studies from France and China with less than 40 participants each. There is a trial being conducted in NY State currently.
I hope it is a miracle drug that works and that Trump was right. I just feel like he jumped the gun on announcing it.

Personally I try my best to not watch his press conferences. Generally a huge waste of my time. But they’re sort of like a train wreck. You can’t help but look when you see one. The only redeeming factor is when they let Dr Fauci speak and I have a ton of respect for him. Once he gets done and Pompous Maximus and the other minions open their mouths, it’s time to change the channel.

We may find out that she gave him a big dose, and she took just a tiny, tiny bit. May be a murder, who knows? If she hated Trump as much as some you morons do, AND she wanted to kill her husband, fish cleaner could be a win/win.

I saw an interview with a doc in NYC at one of the heavy hit hospitals and he's taking it as a preventive. Fauci said he'd prescribe it if a patient was at risk of death.

Depends on the situation. Today he was confronted with reasonable questions. Same with yesterday. And if he thinks a question is unfair or is premised on an inaccurate quote, he can say so WITHOUT insulting the questioner.

And, it would help in those situations if he was right about his claim he was being misquoted. He has made that claim repeatedly and been wrong -- the quote was accurate. I realize sometimes he thinks there is more context. Again, he can say so.

But saying "You ask snarky questions, that's why your network is failing," especially when the question is fair, albeit uncomfortable, is a sign of great weakness.
