You can't seriously think that those dumb****s did what they did out of the clear blue sky.....
Are they responsible for their own stupidity? Yep....
But where did they get the idea in the first place? My god in heaven.... Trump was talking about chloroquine being some kind of miracle drug!
The woman who survived in her own words:
'Trump kept saying it was basically pretty much a cure': Woman whose husband died after ingesting chloroquine tells the public not to 'believe anything that the president says'
Every President gets those. I acknowledge that the press are generally liberals and so are, for lack of a better word, "tougher" on Republican presidents. That is so in the scheme of things.
But .....
1) A good President would accept the challenge and give reasoned answers. He wouldn't take the bait. A President that does this earns respect. It is reality, so why not embrace it and use it to your advantage?
2) Trump is the worst at dealing with it. He cannot stand to be questioned. He cannot stand to be criticized. He denies his own words. He lashes out with personal insult. And while it satisfies his base, he already has them. All he is doing is alienating everyone else who can see, right in front of them, Trump's own words coming back to haunt him.
I'd like to see sources that anti-malarial drugs are being used worldwide for covid-19. Most sources I've read are governments warning against their use until further trials are conducted. The initial claim Trump made was based off of two studies from France and China with less than 40 participants each. There is a trial being conducted in NY State currently. He didn't frame it as a fix for all. I saw his comments - he said it was showing promise and he hoped it was a powerful solution. Fauci said he couldn't say without careful clinical trials then went on to say that he and Trump were not saying different things. It was completely blown out of proportion (big surprise).
No drug works for everyone and all drugs can cause serious side effects.
The reality (that is not presented in the article) is that this product is being used widely now not only for patients but doctors are taking it too.
My point is the article took the most negative slant possible from the headline on through the story.
I'm glad the FDA got out of the way on this one and I'm pretty certain that Trump had a role in that.
Yeah... about that woman...
Woman Who Ingested Fish Tank Cleaner Was Prolific Donor to Democratic Causes
Are you seriously implying that she and her husband took that stuff as some kind of attempt to discredit Trump??
My god..... the paranoia is strong with you!! That's beyond delusional.....
You look at her own words and think that someone tried to commit suicide in order to "bring down" Trump??
This.... this is.... I have no words.
Congrats, GAVol...... I am literally speechless.
Lol. What?!?Are you seriously implying that she and her husband took that stuff as some kind of attempt to discredit Trump??

We may find out that she gave him a big dose, and she took just a tiny, tiny bit. May be a murder, who knows? If she hated Trump as much as some you morons do, AND she wanted to kill her husband, fish cleaner could be a win/win.Are you seriously implying that she and her husband took that stuff as some kind of attempt to discredit Trump??

You don’t think the White House actually fills the order out, packs it, and ships it do you? Trump is not working behind the desk at a UPS store

I hope it is a miracle drug that works and that Trump was right. I just feel like he jumped the gun on announcing it.
And the media plays right along and makes up stories; uses partial quotes and generally gets exposed for being exactly what he claims.
Why can't they play it straight?
Also let's not forget that the previous administration handled the media by spying on them and unprecedented prosecution of leakers. Is that the better approach to dealing with the media?

You’re not speechless. You’re brainless if that’s what you think I’m saying.
This isn’t a political thing. This is a crazy thing.
Depends on the situation. Today he was confronted with reasonable questions. Same with yesterday. And if he thinks a question is unfair or is premised on an inaccurate quote, he can say so WITHOUT insulting the questioner.
And, it would help in those situations if he was right about his claim he was being misquoted. He has made that claim repeatedly and been wrong -- the quote was accurate. I realize sometimes he thinks there is more context. Again, he can say so.
But saying "You ask snarky questions, that's why your network is failing," especially when the question is fair, albeit uncomfortable, is a sign of great weakness.
I mean, looking at what we're seeing now, I would say between 100,000 and 200,000 cases," Fauci said but corrected himself to say he was referring to deaths.
"But I don't want to be held to that," he added. "I just don't think that we really need to make a projection, when it's such a moving target."
You're insane. I'd say you have the IQ of a rutabaga but that's an insult to vegetables.
You'll obviously do anything to rationalize "Dear Leader's" mistakes simply because you can't admit he made a mistake.
And, before you ask, his mistake was making ANY statement about things he knows nothing about. He should have left it to Fauci and others who clearly know more about it.
You're a jackass.......
And feel free to mod-hammer me for being personally insulting. I'll take it as a compliment.
