Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

My mistake, I thought you told me the other day you were.

Blah blah blah, it is pretty much normal with the exception of some inconveniences...for me. Wtf you want me to do? Cry and bitch about it like some of you? I'm dealing with it. I help who I can and take care of myself and my family. That's all I know to do. What are you doing? If I'm the person that cut Justin's hair, Id give him his money back if I knew he was crying on here about having to drive so far to help me out financially.

Ft. Myers beach was booming yesterday after I left church. Yes, I went to church then drove down to see what the beach looked like. People on the beach, walking the sidewalks, getting Togo cocktails etc. Someone yesterday posted the golf course and club house in his/her town was busy.

I'm inconvenienced a bit, but just here on VN I'm reading many posts in several different forums about people spending more time with family and friends and enjoying simpler things and slowing down. Seems they're making the best out of a terrible situation.

Life is going on right now. Some seem more worried about people dying than they do the economy and some seem more worried about the economy (more people die everyday from car crashes etc) than they are people dying. Some are more worried about feeling like an American and being inconvenienced. 3.3 million filing for unemployment and some here are pissed off they can't go to a movie.

To me......Being an American is way more than doing whatever I want whenever I want and however I want with little to no consideration for anyone else.
I didn't have to drive far smart guy, I said there was only 1 open within a 50 mile radius. I'm not crying about driving, I'm glad I was able to able give them my business as opposed to you who would like them to be laid off. They were talking about even though they are the only one open and have had people driving a long way to come see them business has been down from about 100 or so customers a day to 30 a day. It's sad. It's also scary people like you support government being able to make people stay home over a virus.

The economy being wrecked with have much longer consequences than this virus

Planned Parenthood, ACLU sue three states over Abortion restrictions during pandemic

Planned Parenthood and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) sued government officials in Iowa, Ohio and Alabama on Monday to ensure access to abortion during the coronavirus pandemic.

Officials in those states have either said that orders suspending nonessential medical procedures apply to abortions or have issued directives that left providers unclear about whether they are running afoul of the law.

The pause on nonessential procedures across the country is meant to conserve masks and gloves for healthcare workers on the front lines of the pandemic. Several governors have issued such orders but divisions have emerged between red and blue states over whether abortion is an essential procedure.

Wait, what? You think that Trump, who has repeatedly been wrong about this, has a better grasp on the need to have people stay home and away from potential infections versus governors of their own states? You honestly believe that, if asked, Fauci and Birx would say nah, go on in to work?
Trump wasnt wrong, he caved in because those scumbag Governors wouldnt go along with the re open by Easter suggestion -- Fuaci and Birx have jobs on borrowed time right now

Receiving the benefit-of-doubt is largely an earned courtesy.
Trump spent his entire campaign and presidency doing everything imaginable to insure that he never received that courtesy.
He doesn't deserve that courtesy, he hasn't earned that courtesy.
It is a courtesy Trump extends to absolutely no one.
That has always been one of the obvious and unfortunate consequences of his whole Trumpism shtick.

And the MSM can continue to interview Democrats who are and won't be elected this November and I have no problem. Because it's how inconsequential the MSM is. And tools like you will cower in fear of your own shadow awaiting your talking points from these MSM dolts.

It will be interesting to see which states will be crying about flattening the curve and hospital beds but will fight for doctors to take time to give abortions during this time. There's some jacked up people in this world.

I'd expect them to say, stay home as much as possible. And in hot spots, the governors are right to issue such orders.

And if pressed, I imagine they would say they have recommended as much to Trump, directly.
Are you all for a Kent State approach like from 1970 ?

I think one thing you can call Boris is "correct". Europe & US selling soul to China for name of corporate profits shows the liability of having critical national security industries in China's hands.

I still contend privately President Trump is working to bring China down. More stealth than President Reagan and the Soviet Union. But at the time the US was not dependant on the Soviet Union

If states have to start using abortion clinic space, who cares what you or god thinks of abortions.

Yeah, it's much better to put everyone back to work by Easter, when we've not even peaked yet w/ the virus. We all get that folks have to get back to work, but Fuaci and Birx aren't going to twist Trumps arm to do something which shouldn't be done...he obviously saw the real data.

Life isnt close to normal. And I find that to be an absurdly stupid claim. I am employed still. My wife owns a business. Watching something you've worked your ass off for all of a sudden teeter on the edge of a cliff due to idiotic government leadership, should never be the normal.
Okay, I'll give you that life isn't how it normally is. But like I said, I'm dealing with it and trying to make it the best I can. I lost most everything in 2009 and its been a road I hope you don't have to travel after this. But F you and your "absurdly stupid claims" BS about something you know absolutely ***** nothing about.

Maybe after all of this some of you will learn to appreciate what you do have and think about all the other millions of people out there that you didn't think before it was the "American" way.

You got me with that one.

Well, If governors of each state had their way, they would each be declared the #1 neediest state in the union and would have the federal government send everything including the kitchen sink to them.
So yeah I think Trump needs to decide based on information from the entire country where to send resources and whether states need to restrict the movement of people to keep from infecting more and more people.

Federalism called. It says to get a clue.
