Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Cuomo just said all the patients coming to the hospital for Covid need a ventilator. That's not true - it's more like 20%.

I presume we all should crucify Cuomo for lying so blatantly.

Well, it's your idea... maybe you can get that rolling?

On a side note, I'm afraid to turn on the AC just in case this heat will kill this virus. But unless it becomes mandatory not to, I might, just for a minute.

And? That doesn't change that governors are in charge of their states. They are not beholden to the President. They have the power to act on the interests of their states and do not need federal approval to do so. Hell, it's their job to act in the interest of their states. The federal government is not "mommy".
However the states dont have the resources to do all those things, hence states asking dumbass to do his job. You act as if states were sitting idly by waiting. States were doing what they could with the resources they had. The same with natural disasters, the states do things, but need some funding from Washington. It ain't that hard, try to keep up.

You need to get a cognitive function test.

The left needs functioning logic; the poster correctly posited why have governors and state legislatures if they're only good for passing the buck when shite hits the fan. There a pandemic of stupid on the left when it comes to understanding this problem.

Again, you are conflating things and putting words in Whitmer's mouth that she did not say. She's pointing out that the rate of infection could be similar but not the death rate. The death rate in the US is 1.5% of those infected, not 10.5% like Italy. Try to keep up.

Okay, I'll play. It's idiotic scaremongering to think 70% of Michiganders will become infected and that one million will require hospitalization.
As for the death rate, she put the state on Italy's trajectory, not me. If you aren't on that trajectory, don't say stupid shite.

It was a paraphrase of what Trump had said. You are nitpicking.

They wanna have it both ways. When he is obliquely racist, they want us to adhere to the specific words and not look at his obvious intent. When we adhere to the specific words in describing what he says they want us to be overly charitable and focus on maybe, possibly, in some possible world, what he was trying to say.
