I don’t think I quite understand your question. But I’ll take a stab at it anyway.

Bill Lee has fumbled his way through this and made some absolutely dumb decisions that contradict what he is supposedly trying to accomplish. He wants people to social distance then shuts down state parks, golf courses and campgrounds. What sense does that make? He is doing things just to be seen as “doing something” and I think that is a good angle for any potential rival to attack. Also I voted against him in the primary anyway so he wasn’t top of my list to begin with.

He wants people to just stay in their homes and not venture out for any non-essential reason. Sure, you're typically far apart at campgrounds and golf courses, but you go to the grocery store to buy food/beer before going there, fill up your car with gas at the gas station, etc. By shutting that stuff down you probably cut down on the number of trips that get made.

I don't even agree with that. The described infection rate combined with the ability for it to lay asymptomatic for weeks...all combined with the massive amounts of human travel between china and the US.

An earlier symptomatic patients could have been missed. I’m not going to say it’s impossible. But they can track number of transmissions in the structure of the virus and we also have some idea of growth rates and all of that tends to suggest that is roughly the right time.

Why the hell would an agent be complicit in keeping the audited payroll lower than the actual? I'd sure rather have commission paid on $500k rather than fraudulently keeping at $60k, it'd take a dumb effing agent to willingly do that. Do you do the audits or only step in after fraud is suspected by the auditor?

Regarding the agent: That's their clientele and they have 100s of those. The agencies and accounting firms are related entities. They charge an unfair amount on the accounting side. The larger clients they have will send their subcontractors to the agents as well.

Regarding me: The answer is both. It depends on the account and what we have already. Some people are malicious with it and some just didnt know better or got wrong information from people who are licensed.

Chattanooga will get you. The judges and city attorneys here all feel like they have to be seen being tough on Truck drivers after that wreck a few years ago. I used to have a couple of CDL firms that hired me to do that stuff and it was easy money until that happened.

We never had much of a problem through Chatty , but we are always going around it on the way to somewhere else . One of our pickup points for Gensets, is in Chattanooga . Ohio , Florida , Virginia Georgia with their roaming State troopers ( all with portable scales ) New Mexico and of course California. They all have a love affair with truckers . I think if you’re mostly staying on I-24 and I-75 the traffic is usually so bad that it’s probably hard to speed in a truck.

For a while they were set up on the bridge on Hwy 27 coming into downtown. They built a ski slope right before the bridge, probably did it so they could fund the project by tagging people who didn’t want to ride their brakes going down the hill.

I think the miscommunication is around the term death rate.

Someone used it above meaning deaths/day or the rate that total deaths was growing.

But others use death rate to mean mortality rate, or percentage of cases that lead to death. It’s this one that goes down with more testing, obviously.

A person can make a logical reason for shutting dow restaurants and such (I disagree with them) but telling people to social distance then shut down great places to do that has no logic behind it.
