If I were to take something away from the media's coverage, I'd say they were echoing Fauci's warnings about chloroquine.

Ya, but he said it a *billion times, so... I suppose after his nightly scanning of medical journals, he stuck a pin in it.

But everyone has hope for it to help, which isn't a bad thing. At best we will have anecdotal evidence if someone recovers or dies while receiving it, for a long while, just as the other treatments being tested.
