I was not aware of the quota when I went to Kroger yesterday. I had 3 ribeyes and the lady let me have all 3 of them but only rang up 2.

at Kroger, those 2 were probably priced for what 3 normally cost -- I thought the meat prices seemed high when I went last Thursday

We ventured out to Walmart today to buy a new pancake air compressor . There was zero TP , disinfectant, sanitizer or paper towels but everything else was plentiful. Meat , dairy , eggs , cheese , beer and coffee . You know all the essentials for life . Bought a big ham some more ground beef to restock and veggies for salad . People weren’t panicked and were very pleasant. Oh and Walmart gas is $1.49

Quite frankly it didn’t dawn on me what had actually happened until I was reading these posts a few minutes ago. She said something about not charging me for the 3rd steak and now I understand why. I just thought she was coming on to me lol.

Went over to girlfriend's tonight to take her two German Shepherds and rat dog for a long walk in her neighborhood. In the 20 times before we have made the same walk we've seen maybe a dozen people out, total. Nice area. Big streets, sidewalks, no traffic, lots of talk trees on large properties.

Tonight we saw at least 25 people out and about. Some couples. A family on a dock. A couple on their porch eating an early dinner.

I've noticed it in my own neighborhood as well. There's a wait going on, but people are dealing with it.

I was at the Turkey Creek Walmart around 7pm. Absolute Ghost Town. Other than ground beef, they had most everything. Much better than Walker Springs the last few days.
