Is it "better" to let it run without OTCs? I know they just treat symptoms. I can hold off on them if things dont get bad.

Most reports have said that any pain relievers/fever reducers might actually prolong the virus and make it more dangerous. Take vitamin C and elderberry and lots of fluids. Maybe hot showers as well as it supposedly doesn’t enjoy heat and humidity?

30% doesn't sound good at all. On this massive of a scale a small percentage is to be expected, but I would have thought and hoped it to be 5% or less.

I really can't say if they were, or are that high. Not sure anyone would admit it, if so. I believe the newer tests have proven to be more accurate and give results in around an hour or less. Although these are just now being produced.

Nope. That would be interesting to know as well. But in the meantime I like to see expectations not being met as far as new cases and hopefully a decline in that which should usher in the idea that this BS is over with.

In the worst hit provinces of Italy we got up to about 81 cases per 10,000 and hopefully that is falling now.

The next 10 days will be key in a lot of these state's more densely populated areas.

Missouri, South Dakota, Virginia, Texas, Kansas, Idaho, Kentucky, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and West Virginia are the bottom 10 for now.

Lot of blue states there. Odd they weren't better prepared.

I think on Fox News yesterday, there was talk of old folks making the ultimate sacrifice. I suppose one of them may have thought they were, if your suspicions are correct.

My local Walmart in Tampa looks like they are going out of business with all of the empty shelves. When I walked in, I was informed that they were, once again, out of TP.
I delivered some food to a friend who is going through chemo. Driving to her house, there were less than half of the cars that are usually on the road.

The last few days have shown that we are actually bending the curve, even with the caveat of testing. Especially since a huge percentage of our testing is being conducted in a known hot spot in NYC. Where do we go from here? This is a very key point in our response.

If we can stay on the current glide path, we will be degrading the number of cases in two weeks.
