Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I am reading on CNBC that the original House version, i.e. the Dem bill, flatly banned stock buy backs with the money.

The Senate version added a loophole that would allow the Treasury Secretary to waive that prohibition.

That's a major problem, even according to Trump. Why would Senate Republicans undermine the buy back prohibition?

You know why.

maybe both, I dunno...
No Mitch said for the Senate to continue with its vacation plans and got roasted for it by his own caucus and recanted within hours. It was a bad look, but he didn’t leave. Nans indeed did leave and just came back and it’s been deadlocked since.

You sure he didn't leave... I guess Chuckie grilled him and made him come back.

i could google, but i'd rather play Rock'em Sock'em Robots with you with pure conjecture, before I have to split for a while

I did google it. If he left he did a single day round trip I can’t find any info on.

Which is more important: 1) Get a bill passed that will actually drive economic stability; or 2) use half truths and ommissions to make the other guy look bad?
We know the answer to this question but it doesnt appear the Democrats do. This is disgusting.
