I hate to have to do mine, but I'm trying to stay in as much as possible because of my wife. I mean I don't want to get it, but her risk is very high with her immune system. Don't wanna bring nothing back to the kids either.

Roughly 500 billion per month.

I get that number by taking average salary of 35000k for 150 million working citizens.

Divide salary by 12 and times by .8 then by 150 million.

This isn't exact but a rough estimate.

We've had a segment for generations that wanted (and have gotten) the Govt to pay 100% of their expenses, to include medical, housing, food, etc., of course they want more of everything but a job.

They ain't worried about rebels like you. The logic being that most folk would take it more seriously. Kind of like the opposite of a mandatory hurricane evacuation.

Point well-taken, but the "Petition to Urge "Shelter in Place" Order: COVID-19" request to sign made it unequivocally clear what they are advocating.

"Please consider adding your name to the petition if you agree that a state-wide lockdown is needed now."

No one who disagrees with this or the title should have signed the petition.

I don't have a horse in this race, though. I don't envy the people having to make these decisions. A one-size-fits-all statewide mandate probably doesn't make sense, but what do I know?

That's the problem. The statement from
Dr Denneny and Dr Smith request the lockdown. Then the language in the actual petition asks for social distancing. The petition was put up by someone other than the doctors. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

I'm all for encouragement, suggesting and giving the public all of the facts. I'm not for orders.

I've been cutting my own hair for years now. Buzz it down to about 1/8" all over every couple of weeks.

I'm not blaming you for being cynical.. I just see things as being unprecedented, and us trying to buy back some time for having our pants down. I don't believe people will be dying in the streets unless our government continues to prove to be completely inept.
