Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I’m on board with saving as many lives as possible. However at some point the cost-benefit needs to be considered. We are going to reach an inflection point where saving lives “at all costs” will do more damage and probably cost more lives in the long run. I accept this applies to me and my family and loved ones as well.

2 weeks, 3 weeks....if that is what it takes to get a handle on this then ok, but we simply can’t shut everything down indefinitely. Until there is a vaccine we are going to have to learn to live with this.

Or die with this.

Will update if that changes.

No you won’t

You can bet your ass there’s a bunch of sick ****s who want that treatment to fail because Trump was the encouraged by it.
Thats probably true..... CNN is posting that 3 people have died in Nigeria from supposedly OD’ing on chloronique and are trying to blame Trump.... they are such idiots.

A student worker?
She is but her whole "unit" was shut down and several were full time non-student employees.
The list goes on.
It's just ridiculous and ignorant to take the position that this does not negatively impact government employees.
Hundreds of thousands, if not millions, have been laid off and many of those jobs will not be coming back any time soon.

Stupid Nigerians. Don't they know not to listen to Trump. Can you think on anyone else that was touting it as an approved treatment.
US President Donald Trump claimed at a White House briefing last week that the Food and Drug Administration had approved the "very powerful" drug chloroquine to treat coronavirus.

"It's shown very encouraging -- very, very encouraging early results. And we're going to be able to make that drug available almost immediately. And that's where the FDA has been so great. They -- they've gone through the approval process; it's been approved. And they did it"
However, the FDA after the briefing issued a statement saying it had not approved the drug for use against Covid-19 and is still studying its effectiveness against the disease.

Here’s what I don’t get about this story...

Not sure I buy the premise that we knew about the issue 27 cases in, but somehow we’d have known sooner if a certain position was filled?
Congratulations.......You just failed the ignorant liberal entrance exam😎

Before Trump ever said a word..... I had read several articles on how chloronique has shown great success in treating this illness...... None of that matters..... what holds true now and for the rest of eternity is that each individual is strictly responsible for that individual does.... blaming someone else is idiotic.

What does "overdose" mean?

He gave an optimistic outlook..... the FDA said they had been to pushed to hurry through tests and dr Fauci said that it showed promise but he wanted to make sure it was safe.... I guess you hear what you want to hear.
