There isnt a proposed mortality rate that would justify this behavior.

Agreed. The current method we're using isn't going to work anyways. There will be a secondary spike in COVID cases once the quarantines and "Shelter-in-place" are lifted, unless we follow what Mnuchin said and stay quarantined for 12 weeks.

Quarantining people for that length of time would never work though. The economy would collapse in on itself unlike anything we've seen in our country's history. Civil unrest would ensue and martial law would be declared.

Just horrible times all around.

My brother worked at the Newport News shipbuilding megalopolis that builds the carriers and they have very high standards for the structural steel. I think stockpiling toilet paper is more of a woman and kid issue. Most men use minimal toilet paper. Maybe pre-tearing the sheets for kids is an archaic idea some are stockpiling it and everytime you go it's gone. Some men don't even wipe their behinds good, if at all.
