@volatil by the way, thank you for your input and rationally discussion

I wish we had the answers. I’m holding out hope this is seasonal. Hopefully goes away by May. I read a very long report by a Infectious Disease physician stating the virus isn’t doing well with heat or UV light. Seriously that report has been pulled down as of this morning with “under review” warning.

rand paul has contracted it

and Angela merkel is in quarantine since her doctor has come down with it

The 45 minute tests are in production and being shipped to the hot spots first. This is going to turn reasonably quickly once the quinine/Z-pac cocktail and other med options prove out since many hospitals/providers are already dispensing. Personally, I err on the side of liberty, however, stupid people usually ruin it for everybody else. Which is where we find ourselves IMO.

We will have the answers on a lot of this soon enough. But the death rate will undoubtedly go lower as more tests are done and successful treatments are completed. We will never know the true number of those infected due to the huge number who had the weaker strain and did not get tested or just recovered well at home.

Stay healthy and safe.

Happens man. Anyways, I’m not taking this situation lightly. I understand the complications of this virus and “what could happen” regarding the need for ventilators. I understand that if this thing were to spread like wildfire there would not be enough ventilators to sustain those that need them.

Makes anyone feel better due to my job I have to get on an airplane tomorrow and fly to Boston where this crap is way worse then the area I am currently in. Lol.
Hope you stay safe

If any of you fine folks have a high school aged child and they’re still trying to figure out what they want to do in life. Right now is a good time for them to pay attention to what is considered essential personal and might think about looking into that field...

Just saying...

😉

Correct. Read up. I just stated that. Again, a shelter in place “order” is an extreme measure that isn’t needed right now. The Federal and State Governments have given the proper guidance on what to do. People need to follow it.
Sadly, a lot just are not. I am finding places to walk without many other peeps. It's tough, though. Humans are very social.

Instead of arguing over the seriousness of it all let’s talk about what’s going change change in our world because of it. What innovations do y’all see coming about? What changes in industries are going to take place? More remote workers? More people utilizing home delivery of food?
I think universities are going to realize they can deliver virtually the same quality of education online with dramatically less overhead.

Something everyone but universities have known for 10 years.

Disagree wholeheartedly with this statement. One should not get into Healthcare unless you have a passion for helping people... Much like teaching.

Outside of that, there is nothing wrong with being a truck driver or store clerk, but I wouldn't call them covetable careers.

Sorry for the delay and thanks for asking.
Woke about 3AM, which had given the fever reducers time to leave my system. Still had a fever but it peaked at 102, so spiking at 2° lower. Had just a touch more energy and less pancreas pain today, so hopefully, whatever it is, hit it's peak the previous 2 to 3 days.

I'll post the next noticeable change, either direction. My son is in day 9. He had a peak but the dry cough just won't go away. Hate it for the little guy.

Going to be nice seeing him help win a championship at LB.

Just goes to show you how highly regarded these recruits hold the coaches Sales pitches. Unfortunately it’s a double edge sword,in my opinion but when you get playing time it doesn’t matter and those things tend to go away.i just hope he’s happy wherever he ends up and stays at that position 4 years.

Virus’ don’t mutate from Human to Human as fast as a poster stated this one has. The poster stated a well renowned Dr. stated it jumped in 2 weeks from human to human. That is insane considering virologists have stated that SARS-CoV-2 mutates slowly. The swine flu took an entire year and it took approximately 9 years to jump from swine to human.
Which swine flu? Virtually all flu strains originated in either swine or birds.
