Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

W.University ..... I thought about going over to West Towne Commons Kroger & decided it would be nothing there too. Parkway Kroger is where I do the shopping for my mother.
I go to the one by Target. I live closer to that one. I like the one you go to better but it’s not as convenient.

We have been having luck going in the mornings before work. They have most everything you need.

Dems on cancelling the rest of the school semester > Everyone gets straight As - Everyone passes to the next level ( even those that were failing before the shutdowns) Everyone gets a participation trophy for extra curricular activities -- see ya in the Fall (maybe)

Part of it. Mostly the liqueurs, cordials, and some spirits.

The good bourbon/rye/scotch/Jap gets its own closet and has some stuff that wasn't obtained through entirely legal means and I wouldn't want to get distributors in trouble by accident by providing photographic evidence.
I used to love venders, they were great and generous. We had a special relationship, Id bring their stuff in, we'd design a weekend around it with a theme and I got free stuff. Win win. #protectyourvenders

Did I tell you about my MEX layover and the Mezcal tasting? I had no idea that that was now a thing. We were at this cantina and they were having a free tasting in one of the small dining rooms. Free liquor? Hell yeah I'm in. Anyway, The guy was pouring just enough to get the flavor and it was exquisite. It is becoming like craft beers down there. Boutique distillers. So dammit now I have to bring home a few bottles of THAT in addition to some of the single malts that I recently discovered. My wife is pizzed.

You'd love it.

Ralph Northam, gov of Virginia, just suspended some educational requirements and limitations to testing to get nurses, NPs and NCPs into the field faster.

Im saying most with mild symptoms or no symptoms absolutely are not counted because they didn’t get tested, or even knew they had it. Why would they get tested?

I said we probably had thousands of cases in January. Given we werent testing, the majority of cases showing no or mild symptoms, where is your proof we didn’t?

Your throwing around confirmed cases like it’s gospel without addressing the FACT that we werent testing until recently. Given the FACT that most cases are mild and that asymptomatic people are not tested (why would they be or even know they had It)...Pray tell, what is so unreasonable about assuming we had cases in January and current confirmed cases are on the extreme low end of actual reality?

Your position seems to be it was here on the day we got our first confirmed case, which quite frankly, is stupid.

I don't think we are in total disagreement here, and I am really not wanting to engage in silly squabbles during this crisis.

If you keep making up strawman positions and attributing them to me without any basis in anything I've ever said, I'm sure you can totally make your self feel better, but it won't get you the proof you need for your extreme assertions about 1,000s of cases in January. If you provide that proof, then I will be in total agreement with you.

I change my mind based on contradictory evidence.

Obviously, our day zero is somewhat earlier than our current first confirmed case and our testing was slow to ramp up. That is exactly why I'm trying to look at the daily cases to try and get the actual picture of where we are. If we had great surveillance of the virus from the beginning, then I would just use those numbers as they would already be solid.

On the other hand, if we had thousands of cases in January we would be in a very stark place right now. That is just basic math.

I had a trip to Oaxaca planned in September. I think you and I talked about it. Big, big fan of Mezcal. When you hit the liquor store, try and score Mescal Vago Ensemble. Has a maroon label in a tall, clear skinny bottle (same bottle style as Eagle Rare). It's a homerun.

Guess I'll be rescheduling barring a miracle.

Seems like your point could be supported with good data trends in the % of positive tests vs. negative tests.

I don’t agree with him doing this. Leads to liability and legal issues down the road along with general nursing issues

That is not a fact.
