Thank you. This is must reading for everybody. Healthcare, press, politicians....I don’t trust them nearly as much as I trust cold hard data and numbers.

You know I have been thinking about that Minister in Chattanooga. He probably greeted and shook the hands of hundreds over a two week period and it has been about 2-4 weeks since, yet no new cases have been attributed to him.

I have no problem with .gov putting out the facts and suggestion. I detest .gov ordering.

But one thing I’m giving him credit for is calling out these journalists in his daily briefing. Stop with the sensationalism. Just stop. It isn’t helping and it isn’t going to get us through this. Report the news in context with just the facts. Asking about what he would say to scared Americans is just a f’ing stupid question. We need to focus on sanity and concern. The press wants to focus on panic and fear.

In all likelihood we will be looking back in 6 month and wonder what the hell we were thinking. I simply can’t wrap my head around what we are doing here. Literally nothing is going to happen to a large majority of the population. Most will show mild or no symptoms at all. Quarantine at risk folks and caretakers and carry on like normal. For Pete’s sake this is stupid.
