I don't believe for a second that China has had 20-50 new cases a day for the last week. There's just no way. S. Korea just happened to handle this better than literally any country will.

Denmark's approach has been surgical but that's easy to do when your population is 5.6 million.

Just saw on Fox where there was a WSJ article and even a guest warning that if we keep going down the road we are with closing the country it will be worse than a recession. You can’t just close the country down for months and expect to survive, glad there are some out there with a louder voice than me saying this. This is a very dangerous time and that doesn’t have anything to do with any virus

Even so, it still doesn't look good. A broken record by Trump would have been a better look. I get it. He's going to Donald no matter what. I just don't think it helps anything right now.

The press is going to do what they always do, he can call them on that but sometimes it causes more harm then good and we need all the good we can get right now. It could have been handled better and should have been. Oh well, it's done and we have got to get through this together.

I have been listening to the Ben Shapiro show quite a bit through this and he has been saying pretty much the same thing.

I watched the Washington documentary on The History Channel when it came on around Presidents Day. It would be interesting to see how his war and leadership tactics would have gone over today.

There are some good points in here. Why are we testing people who have covid symptoms with known exposure? They have to isolate anyway.

Theres nothing wrong w him saying he feels optimistic about the vaccines that are in trial. Do you watch the press conferences? I never did until the last week and all they do is prove him right. For days they went on asking questions about how calling it a Chinese virus is racist. They are driven entirely by sensationalism and trump hate. It’s pathetic especially in times like this.

Some on here, including that dullard, seem to view taking the CDC and other Government Health Organizations at their word as some sort mental capitulation.

Hard to say.

It's just depressing to reflect on how the individualistic spirit that generation possessed is now almost gone from the American population.
