Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

There's talk of releasing inmates, not arresting people. Additionally people are just stupid these days. I'm not an alarmist nor am I running around scared for my life. But If you don't own a gun to protect your family from an intruder you're not very bright, or you're just a panty waist that's afraid of a gun. Probably don't know how to put air in your tires either.

I thought that law enforcement generally arrived on scene after crime was committed, not before.

It is one of the most bewildering ideas out there...that LEO will be (or even CAN be) right there where they are needed exactly when they are needed. If this were actually the case there'd be no such thing as murder, rape, assault, etc. as obviously the cops are always there to prevent them from happening. It's shocking how many can't clear that exceedingly low conceptual bar.

Pelosi: Trump Should Assume Dictatorial Powers NOW

On Thursday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called on President Trump to invoke the Defense Production Act and assume dictatorial powers in the United States. Pelosi wrote:

Right now, shortages of critical medical and personal protective equipment are harming our ability to fight the coronavirus epidemic, endangering front-line workers and making it harder to care for those who fall ill. The president must immediately use the powers of the Defense Production Act to mass produce and coordinate distribution of these critical supplies, before the situation worsens and the shortages become even more dire. There is not a day to lose. We must put more testing, more production equipment and more ventilators into the hands of our frontline workers immediately.
On Wednesday, Trump signed the act, but also tweeted, “I only signed the Defense Production Act to combat the Chinese Virus should we need to invoke it in a worst case scenario in the future. Hopefully there will be no need, but we are all in this TOGETHER!”

You have to put air in them?

Cuomo and Trump working well together. Strange times right now.
needed times.
I'm not... I guess we should track down the dude that ate the bat and call it his name... The "Yao Mong Virus", no offense to anyone named Yao Mong, but I guess we could do the same if some American dumbass ate the bat and started it... the "Bubba Hicks Virus" , or whoever did it. But no offense to Bubba Hicks, just an example.
We shouldn't and don't need to know pt zero. Ebola zaire, Ebola renton named to uniquely identify strains and their specific profiles.

More often than not it's the "It can't happen to me." syndrome.

Who here thinks that it is only conservatives out there buying guns and ammo?

If so, the Democrats are in for a rough time come November, if the sales and background checks that are happening now are any indication.

Taking a couple weeks and driving part of Route 66 from Missouri to Santa Monica pier...we were gonna postpone it for awhile but then you have the heat to deal with in summer
I would do it. You are 10 times more likely to get killed in a car wreck, than you are to die from this virus.

He was probably going to win anyway. With stuff like that he will cruise to victory.

The Iranian Regime Alone Is To Blame For Iran’s Coronavirus Crisis.

The mullahs are trying to blame American sanctions. Don’t fall for it.

On Tuesday, the Iranian regime’s Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, claimed that “unlawful US sanctions” were draining Iran’s economic resources and impairing its ability to fight against the deadly coronavirus. In recent days, the Iranian regime’s apologists in the West have echoed this narrative; they blame the Trump Administration for limiting Tehran’s ability to fend off the virus.

But Iran’s humanitarian tragedy has very little to do with U.S. policy. It’s the Iranian regime itself that has done the most to contribute to the rapid spread of COVID-19 both in Iran and, more recently, from Iran to other parts of the world—including the United States. The systematic cover-up, deceit, and inaction by Iran’s regime in recent weeks have already cost at least 5500 lives. Moreover, through both sheer incompetence and deliberate deceit, the regime has turned Iran into the epicenter of the coronavirus in the Middle East.
