I always dreaded the idea of a situation like 911 with Trump, because he was so immature and cruel. I have been very pleasantly surprised by him and Governor Cuomo in particular. I'm also happy to see our Democrat/Republican house/Senate working together.

Like I said, strange times...

Just goes to show you that the two parties aren’t left vs right it’s politicians vs us and both parties work very hard at playing us off each other.

However right now we actually need the bastards to be useful in some way and luckily they have. Admittedly my bar has been lowered dramatically in recent years for expectations of the federal government, but yes this appears to be a pleasant suprise.

But let me be clear. I am against this free money BS. I recognize assistance to people in need is required somehow. But I fully expect the government to screw up a mass dispensation of free money to the masses. I’d rather see allocations made to local governments to deal with their citizens as demand requires.
