Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I initially saw it from a station reporters twitter and they listed Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins office as the source of that info.
See that’s not a direct source..... with all the misinformation out there I would wait till someone confirms those details.

Not every Walmart is open 24/7. The Supercenter here in LaFayette, is normally open 6am to midnight. It’s closing an hour earlier for the next few weeks.
Don’t be a drama queen.
Drama queens shop Walmart between midnight and 3 am. No wait, that's drag queens. Um...a friend told me.

Went to walmart at 11:15. Two workers were turning everyone away at the doors. They told me ALL walmarts across the country will now be closed from 11pm till 6am.

Man, when walmart starts shutting down its getting really crazy. Now imagine the panic this will cause. I'm surprised I havent seen anything on the news about it yet honestly.

It made the news in most places. Ours went to those hours like 2-3 months ago.

Hey guys..if you’re getting ready to be stuck at home with your ladies, buy some really good chocolate and bring it out on day 5 or 6. It should automatically help reset her irritated with you meter and buy a few day grace.😊
Wonder how many December babies we'll see this year?

Admitedly, I haven't paid much attention to this and think it is the most overblown thing ever. But, now that is has consequences to my job, I am curious on a few things.

1. What is the criteria to test someone? NBA athletes have been tested and determined to have had the virus, despite not having a fever. Yet, one hospital I work with can only test people who have been overseas within the past month.

2. Since testing is limited, who determines whether an average feeling person gets a test, opposed to someone who is really sick, but cannot get one?

3. How long until we acquire more tests, so that everyone with reasonable cause to be tested can be tested?

4. When will the panic and hysteria end? One would figure, as testing becomes more prevalent, the numbers would go up based on the increased number of testing.

The state came out and said they used the the tests on NBA players bc they were worried about a huge freak out

A parting thought, good night all. POOF

January 22, 2020: "We have it under control. It’s going to be just fine”
March 15, 2020: "It's a very contagious virus. It's incredible. But it's something we have tremendous control of"
Now do November, December, and January and tell us what was on the minds of the Democrats those months.

It’s not the waffle it’s the hash browns
I'm more of a waffle lover. You're not one of those "pancakes are better than waffles" freaks, are you? Some crazy people out there that think that. I think their mommas dropped them on their heads.

I'm starting to think the tests are pretty much pointless outside of testing people with symptoms and healthcare staff etc.., at this point. The reason being, is that someone could get tested and by the time they get the test back that shows negative, they could have contracted the virus any time after the test.

If and when we can test everyone, it will be the thing to do, as to know where the virus is concentrated, and which areas/individuals should quarantine. I'm pretty sure when the tests are available for everyone, it will be drive-through style.

Seems the plan is to try and keep masses of people away from each other until things seem manageable, not sure anyone knows how long.

* Seems it's going to be a long while yet, before we can come close to testing our entire population.

Pence updates coronavirus response, says there will be 'tens of thousands of tests' in coming days, weeks
