Trump going golfing when he has "delegated" all the great work to scientists & doctors that do this for a living is good for the soul & mind. After Isis decapitated the heads of journalists .... Obama said a few words at the podium for 2 seconds and then got into his special little helicopter & went to play his 18 rounds of golf....so it works both ways.

I think the 239 pounds was the gap tooth black woman that actually won the Governor's race in Georgia, except for the fact that 55,000 black folk weren't allowed to vote.

I'm also tracking the infection rate (how many people each confirmed carrier has infected) that would be needed to get from March 1st to each day's total of new cases. Over the last week you can actually see the infection rate start to decrease.

These are obviously rough numbers but they do give a readable trendline.

Based on this, fewer than 1367 new cases today will mean the infection rate has fallen again. Hopefully we are far below that today.

Working for a small business I guess I see his side. Especially when the comparison is the government. Never been given a warm fuzzy feeling by the .gov

Staff here are taking a 10% cut. The bosses are skipping every other pay check to keep us afloat. Plenty of that going around.

Also his anecdote about ACA also strikes pretty close to home as well.

Point being there is a big difference in people in general being turds, and then having some of your own turds you are responsible for. Wouldnt call it parent level of care, but far closer than being uncaring.

Who cares about the election 8 months from now at this point?

If you have a button that makes Trump president for 4 more years, but keeps my Mom and Mother-in-Law and everyone else over 70 from getting a virus with a pretty good chance of killing them, then I'll push it right now.

Does anyone else find it odd that we, as citizens, are encouraged to have 3-months salary saved in the event of job loss, emergencies, etc., but many large businesses are dependent on the government for bailouts?

The first rule of business:

You go in business to invest, not to “make” money.

If businesses invest properly, they will make money.

I really don't give two *s what they call it. You should probably find ways to define your personal identity in something a bit less subjective than what people you'll never meet call a virus you never got.
