We put tongue and groove wood ceilings in the new house we just built. Pine with a clear varnish coating..I've got a lot of that coming in my other house. Most of the ceilings are over 10 ft - haven't actually measured, but probably 12 ft. Not looking forward to it at all. I've been debating whether to take down the ceiling tile my dad put up long ago and clean and paint the tongue and groove beaded board or just paint the tile stuff that I hate. If I take down the tile, it means re-positioning all the crown molding - and it's big stuff - not what they sell now; and there's the wall below the crown molding if it gets moved up. The worst part is even though fixed, shoulders with torn rotator cuffs don't work like they used to, and they definitely don't feel as good when working overhead.
And Trump is a great counter to that isn't he? While sitting next to the Prime Minister of Ireland last week, he commended the U.K. on doing such a good job of handling the coronavirus outbreak. This marks at least the third time that Trump has publicly mistaken Ireland for being a part of the U.K. and he even owns property in Ireland.Hang your hat on Alzheimer’s Biden all you want. Dude doesn’t even know where he is 90% of the time.
Good luck

I used to live in Jefferson City...we had to move to the coast to help take care of my FIL after his wife died a couple years ago...should probably ask @Freak if I can update my screen name to VolnHellYour screen name says you're in Johnson city. I don't believe you.
No, we won’t be, but given the opportunity to watch you and your cadre of pus-secreting booger eaters have a nuclear meltdown would be hysterical.
Even worse, the fact you need a president to tell you to wash your hands and be cautious in your interactions is, to be frank, an embarrassment.
I expect nothing less from liberals, though. Any way you can finger blame at someone else, so you can avoid taking accountability for your own stupidity, is on par with the race card: futile and overplayed.
At the end of the day, neither will really impact my day to day life. And Trump is a great counter to that isn't he? It’s been here longer than the US wants to admit. It’s too late to contain it.If we could cure heart disease and stop those deaths by shutting down for 2 weeks. Wouldn’t we?
If we could end the opioid crisis and stop those deaths by shutting down for 2 weeks. Wouldn’t we?
If we could stop car crashes. If we could stop the mass killings in Chicago. If we could stop - you name it. Wouldn’t we?
The fact is - we can’t stop ANY of those things. There is literally almost nothing we as a society can do in 2 weeks to stop those killers.
You know what we can do something about? The spread of this coronavirus in our cities and towns. We literally can impact the growth rate.
That’s the difference, people.
