Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I said a couple of days ago we would have 2,500 cases by Monday.

We already have 2,033.

So I think I was wrong by at least a factor of 2 and we will have at least 5,000. And that number is going to skyrocket as testing becomes more widely available because the real number is probably many, many times that.

The number will sky rocket and the mortality rate will plummet. There are probably 10,000s of cases worldwide where people probably didn’t even know they had it.

A new report out of Beijing suggests the first confirmed case of the coronavirus can be traced back to mid-November, a month earlier than the Chinese government has claimed it knew about it.

Government documents seen by the South China Morning Post show the first reported case of COVID-19 surfaced on November 17. Scientists believe that a 55-year-old person from Hubei, a province in central China, could be "patient zero" though that has not yet been confirmed.

We ruled out 1 and have 2 more in isolation. I have to say my hospital admin is making me regret my choice to still be there. They are limiting n95 masks to employees (2 per shift) who are carIng for these pts but they are allowing visitors to wear simple masks and follow hygiene procedures. That's a real stupid. It goes against our own policy.

Yeah, but you know it's a business decision - prepare for barely squeaking by on what's a normal day ... emergencies never happen - or "not my problem; I'm getting my bonus by staying under budget."

Wrong as usual the media would protect dems by telling everyone it’s not big of a deal and to relax.
But Fox News, I'm sure they lit into Obama and was making a stink. Or were they focused on his tan suit, grey poupon, or bicycle helmet to take notice. The evil dem.deep state.

Be sure you stock up heavily, in case the last 2 places still selling food are Papa John's and Taco Bell.

Last trip over, I went to the Commissary for a little over $200, so pretty decently stocked up with non perishable foods - even one of the huge bags of Nishiki rice.

I'll leave it to someone else to post the Trump snippets.... I'm a little disappointed in you guys mocking people with disabiities, so I'll try not to give the impression I'm doing the same.
Liking vodka is a disability now? Does that mean peach Crown is too?

I have one of those unopened huge packs from Costco in the garage - was destined for the other house, but it might be worth holding back to see how the TP market peaks.
I don't understand this run on toilet paper. Just left Kroger and cart after cart was loaded with Charmin. Is diarrhea a symptom of coronavirus?
