From what I've read, stay away from others, use some over the counter remedies and call your doctor.

It’s not about containment as that is not possible at this point. It is about minimizing infection rates so as to not overload medical infrastructure to the point of the system breaking. Do you really want to see senior citizens getting removed from hospital rooms due to risk factors saying they could save a very sick 50 versus a 70 year old? Just look at the reports from Italy and see how it is about doing nothing until today. You seem to be missing the forest through the trees.

I'm not sure this is the time to put out a statement about holding anyone (presumably China) accountable. We've become so dependent on them that we can't afford to make enemies of them in a time of crisis. That's the only reason Trump complimented their handling of this IMO

The millennials at my office think that work from home means they get a 3 week vacation. I overheard a girl behind me walking out say that it’s great because she doesn’t even need to use any vacation for the next 3 weeks.

If I'm not mistaken, Cotton is the primary Republigoon peddling the theory that this was a man-made virus that escaped from a viral warfare lab in Wuhan.

You know how homes sometimes have both old and young people in them. That's the risk. If persons in that household limited their exposure to 10 people per day, vs 50, their risk of contacting someone carrying the virus and transmitting it to an at-risk person is substantially less.

The whole idea, as I understand it, is to prevent eveyone from getting ill at the same time, creating a healthcare crisis

Tom Cotton killing two Q/Trump conspiracy targets with one stone (tweet). Could be the Chinese mismanaging it early. Could be an intentional or reckless release of man made bio agent.

Schools shut down all around us here in Georgia. Ran to Wal-Mart after work for milk and cereal, shelves are empty. Crowd was as bad as black Friday, and people were in absolute freak out mode. If there is a food shortage after the way I saw people acting tonight, better hope you are ready to fight for yours. This is what concerns me more than the virus, the way people are acting.
