Lol. One of our clients cancelled a teleconference over this. Didnt want anyone to get sick due to the call. And they are an elected official...

The way they tried to hide this thing has put so many lives across the world at risk. Why work so hard to keep word of this virus under wraps if there was nothing to hide?

Not to mention that they threatened to withhold pharmaceuticals from us which would cost God knows how many Americans their lives.

They just cancelled schools in Hamilton county for the next two weeks and are voting Monday to move up spring break to make it three weeks.

Also, my dad has been at Erlanger hospital all week and a few hours ago they told my sister that they were discharging him early. she asked how early so we could bring him some clean clothes and they said "Now." and gave her a pair of scrubs.

I always schedule two days of vacation for the first two days of the NCAA Tournament... what the hell am I going to do with my days off next Thursday and Friday? Just go to a bar and get drunk for no reason, with no basketball on? Yeah, I guess...

When all said and done it will turn out that the virus has been here in the states since Nov or Dec 2019 and thousands of people have already been infected and gotten over it without even knowing they had Corona 19.

Can we start a naming contest for the huge panic?

I did the same. I'll probably just go to work. Nothing else to do those days.

Does the DoD have the ability to set up additional healthcare facilities in the field?

Be it the Army or National Guard?

If needed that is

There is a very small part of me that wonders if we've been mistaking this for the flu for a long time.

I had heard earlier today there were two cases at Erlanger facilities.

The DOD’s current contingency plan to combat the virus is deploying whatever napalm remains in ammo depots. You can’t get sick if you’re dead.

Yep, and it won’t stop the press from speaking out of both sides of its mouth. On one side they will bitch about how many people probably have it but we aren’t testing, while out of the other side quote mortality rates from a week ago and headline 1 death in Spokane, Washington 2 days ago.

Stoke the fear and watch dumbasses buy toilet paper, tank the market, and cancel any gathering over 5 people.

We are going to look back on this as a country and shake our collective heads at the absolute stupidity of it all.
