It really was a rhetorical question I suppose as I knew the answer. I've been an advocate of pulling back our products and manufacturing from China for years. China only cares about power. It's one thing to buy a Chinese TV, it's quite another to purchase food and medications from that fifthly communist regime. Anyone who did not realize this would come back to bite us in the ass is blind. I personally look for products that are not made in China.Primarily because a large portion of Chinese citizens still live in extreme poverty. They live in very close contact with animals, including chickens, bats and pigs that have all been shown to pass respiratory illnesses to humans at different times.
I would be concerned with being around so many people from so many different places.First I know all this panic is BS. But I am needing some advice.
My 15 year old daughter is supposed to go on a spring break beach trip to FL panhandle on Saturday. Would you let her go?
I’m not concerned about the virus. But I am concerned about her being 8 hours away with all this general uncertainty and various cancellations.
TIA
I was about to respond to that quoted post. That number can't be right. Children's Hospital runs a respiratory PCR (which is likely what was being referenced) on a regular basis for sick younger pts, and we send them periodically. I'll get a number, but I think it's around $300-400.1800 dollars. Why is that??

no doubt, I would say the bigger issue is all the partying going on down there. I'd be more concerned with that than coronavirusI would be concerned about my 15yo daughter going on a beach spring break to Florida. Period.
I’ve been there. It’s not a place for a 15yo girl unless she’s leashed to a parent at all times lol.
As far as the insanity of the public, I wouldn’t let her go without a good adult you trust with her. I just don’t trust people right now. As far as the virus, she’s 15 and otherwise healthy so not a real concern there for her.First I know all this panic is BS. But I am needing some advice.

Knowing what I did and who when I was on spring break trips there’s no way in hell I’d let my 15 year old goFirst I know all this panic is BS. But I am needing some advice.

$800-ish billed, $500+ after cash adjustmentI was about to respond to that quoted post. That number can't be right.
