He’s recovering from like two heart surgeries in his life. He has health issues. Hopefully not related to corona but worth keeping an eye on. And in case he does have corona symptoms, then he’s a grade A ass. DONT GO TO WORK if you have a fever, shortness of breath, and cough.

Yeah, hope it's just the flu or a stomach bug.

So now it’s “racist” to call COVID19 Wuhan Flu...according to our MSM, because it “blames” China. China points the finger at the US now? WTF? How bout China get in the First World and 21st century, Quit eating complete s*** in bats, rats and cats or f’ing around with viruses in labs and letting them loose.

Travel bans, canceling sporting events, concerts, conventions, festivals, etc. all seem like overreaction, but those might be critical steps to help flatten the bell curve of infections so that hospitals don't get completely overwhelmed. It is the pinnacle of stupidity to approach this problem with a cavalier notion such as "well we're all going to get sick anyway, so we might as well not do anything to slow it down." We need to be prepared for the idea that the economy may take a huge hit for a while and times will be tough. If we can keep from having hospitals become a overwhelmed, it will be worth it. Italy is in chaos because their hospitals are at 200% capacity and the health workers are getting sick or worn down. Who knows how many patients, who would normally be treatable, are being turned away because of lack of resources?

You are 100% correct. Part of the reason South Korea is handling this way better then Italy is they were able to flatten the curve/exponential increase of those sick. Hospitals are way overwhelmed in Italy. You have to flatten the curve to insure you don’t overwhelm hospitals. Another reason why testing is so important.

I got called back from the mountains last night after 9 p.m. Got back here just before 11. It was raining cats and dogs and visibility was poor at best coming off the mountain. My wife thought she was dying from a kidney stone. She felt much better today, and it hit again tonight. She is dying again tonight. She wanted to go to the emergency room, and I said let me call the doctor. I called him on his cell at 10:18 tonight. He said hydrocodone, which her dad, who recently died had, and Terazosin ( to help empty bladder at night), which I had. He said that would help to help pass it. He said to bring her in the morning.
I had one last spring, thought I was dying even with pain meds. After 40 straight hours of searing pain and no sleep I passed a stone larger than 1/4 inch and some smaller pieces. I wish her a quick recovery and relief from pain.

You mean there is a finish line or expiration date on this?

So it really isnt like the flu.
People who get infected and recover will develop immunity. As their numbers grow it will act like control rods in a nuclear reactor and suppress the rate of transmission. But that is a long-term thing and hopefully a vaccine comes into play too, and sooner rather than later.

My ex had them bad for a three month period a while back. I was talking to this elderly nurse while they were removing her catheter. The doctor pulled it out like he was hitting the retract button on a dog leash. I damn near passed out. Nurse said I turned ghostly white.

ESPN reporting the Jazz players are quarantined and still in the locker room wearing masks until they are tested. Strange days.
